Have a Purrfect Christmas!

Greetings! It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. Some holidays are here, others are rapidly approaching, and I'm woefully behind this year!

But, Topflight Stamps' Cyber Monday sale is going on right now and ends tonight (November 30th) at midnight, ET. Get 25% off storewide!

When I saw the bespeckled winking cat in AALL and Create's Hocus Pocus Clear Stamp Set #570 by Bipasha BK, I was smitten by that kitten! The set has the cat stamp and a great witch hat stamp, which obviously is perfect for Halloween. However, that cat is tremendously versatile!

Here he is in my Christmas card, which also uses the Santa Hat from the Skullduggery Cling Mounted Stamp Set by Indigo Blu as part of the focal image.

The Santa Hat was stamped onto white cardstock and onto label paper, which was fussy-cut, and placed over its counterpart as a mask.

The cat was stamped onto the image panel and onto label paper, which was fussy-cut, and placed over its counterpart as a mask.

Apple Green and Evergreen Prism Inks by Hunkydory Crafts were brushed over the masked images to create the background of the image panel.

The Reckoner Clear Stamp Set #543 by Tracy Evans for AALL and Create was stamped several times on the background using Evergreen Prism Ink.

The masks were lifted and the images were colored with Copic markers.

The larger of the two dies in the Scalloped Rectangle Frames Die Set by Paper Rose was used to cut a piece of Festive Flora 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad by Craft Consortium.

The Christmas sentiment from the Classic Sentiments Clear Stamp Set was combined with the "have a purrfect" sentiment from the Purrfect Day Clear Stamp Set. Some words were covered, the stamps were inked with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink by Tsukineko, the cover was removed, and the sentiment was stamped, then cut with a speech bubble die. The little fish present from the Purrfect Day Clear Stamp Set was stamped, then colored with a marker and a glitter pen.

VersaFine ink was used to stamp the Naughty/Nice sentiment from the Skullduggery Cling Mounted Stamp Set.

PaperArtsy Zinski Art Bird & Bear Gel Printed Christmas Cards

Hi friends!  Happy December from Topflight Stamps!  It's Autumn from SewPaperPaint with you today to share some fun wintry cards with you using gel prints and awesome Zinski Art stamps (set ZA35) by PaperArtsy.  I made the shaker cards below a couple of years back for the PaperArtsy blog (visit HERE) and came across them and suddenly was dying to watercolor this stamp set again.  To make things quick, I pulled out some excess gel prints from my stash and cut layered panels with the Crealies XXL Double Stitched Rectangle Dies

For this year's cards I used Blue Bayou Fresco Chalk Acrylic on the Gel Press.  I stamped the snowy dots from the Sara Naumann stamp set ESN29 and the snowflakes from the Zinski set.  I added some clear embossing to set the Distress Inks.  I used Sara's gorgeous stencil PS101 (my favorite!) with Cloud 9 Fresco rubbed with a baby wipe to get the soft background effect shown.

Just for fun and texture I stamped the music from Sara's set onto vellum and then made a little shaker pocket.  I stitched 3 sides then stuffed in the sequins, then stitched it closed.  The sentiment is from the Sara set.  I added a die cut glittery snowflake and purple Stickles all over the snow. These cards made me smile every step of the way and I hope they give you a smile to day too!  xx, Autumn

Scrap Paper Christmas Tags

I hope you are having a great weekend, Ericka here and today I have a couple more Christmas tags that  I made using PaperArtsy JOFY 103 set. Christmas tags are kind of like Christmas cards, you can never have too many.

I made two different tags. The first one I used the same technique, as my last post, using Infusions. I used the Raspberry and In the Navy colors. While my tag was drying, I stamped the JOFY 103 images and painted them up with PaperArtsy Fresco Acrylics in London Bus, Gumboots, and Granny Smith with some Stone highlights.

I added some WOW! Sparkling Sand embossing on the sides of my tag and my fussy cut images to my tag. To finish my tag, I used the sentiment from the Visible Image Christmas Chaos.

For my other two tags, I used scrap papers from previous projects and randomly arranged them on two tags. I love the look of these random tags and added the same JOFY stamp set images and sentiment to them as well.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week.

PaperArtsy Infusion Christmas Tags

Happy Black Friday! Ericka here and I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Don't forget to check out the great sale going on over in the store.  Today I'm playing with PaperArtsy Infusions and the Tracy Scott 63 set to create some Christmas tags.

I started out with the PaperArtsy Infusions in Slime, Emerald Isle, and Green Man and moved the color around until I liked the look. I then added In the Navy Infusions and smooshed on my tag with some plastic.

Once my tags were dry, I stamped the Tracy Scott 63 snowflakes on my tags and heat embossed them in WOW! Sparkling Sand. I then used the sentiment from the Polkadoodles Snowball Kisses.

I created another tag using same stamps however, I used the Infusions in Raspberry and In the Navy to get a pinkish look.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.

Check out the Topflight Stamps SALE which ends tonight.

This tag is made with Sidony

On this tag I used Booly

For this tag I used Holmy

And for the last tag I  used The Fat Cat 2. All animals got the Santa hat, which is from the Accessory set. I used a generic stitched tag die set for the tags and added some tan string.  i added white accents with a POSCA pen. The sentiments are by Darkroom Door, heat embossed on black.

I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.
