Today we are sharing a card made by our October Guest Designer Terri Burson!!

I created a 6x6 inch canvas using Carabelle Studio "Loving Thoughts" stamp set.  Initially, I was going for a monochromatic theme but decided at the last minute to add a small pop of color; pink.   October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, here in the US, and it's near and dear to my heart, as my mother and sister have both battled the disease.  Thankfully, they are both now cancer-free!

I've never used a gesso board canvas but thought I'd give it a try, as it's firm and easier to stamp on than a traditional canvas.  I also added a little generational stamping, which is a process where you stamp several images with just one inking, creating copycat images that are faded.

If you'd like more photos and a brief tutorial, hop on over to my blog, Waving My Wand.  You'll find me on most social media as @wavingmywand.  Thanks so much for having me guest design today!

    1. Thanks so much! You can see the monochrome finish before I added the pink, on my blog post. It really was a hard decision but I'm glad I went with the touch of pink. :)
