I considered how to illustrate that sentiment in an interesting way. I knew exactly what I wanted to do as soon as I spotted the Darkroom Door Mixed Boxes Stencil in my stash. Can you see what I did to mimic Mondrian, sponging and masking Distress Ink (more intense than Oxides) then adding black dividing lines using a Copic Multiliner?
