I ended up making a rock & a brick- this was an easy project and one that would be great to do with kids. They can just paint or follow along. Lets talk products. This week the team are playing with Darkroom Door's Background Stamps. I showcased the Fun Flowers on the left & Butterflies on the right.
The quotes were taken from the Sentiment Stamp Adventure. I really love this set- there are so many possibilities!
Gesso is a great way to start any altered type of project as it gives you a foundation to work on.
Alcohol Ink Markers were the way to go on this project as they are permanent so will not smear when a layer of varnish is added.
Once your project is complete you could add a few layers of Matt Varnish which is good for outdoor use & has a UV block so your project will not yellow with the sun.
I hope you get a chance to add some interesting, unique rocks to your garden. The sky is the limit to your imagination!
