It's Tuesday which means that you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. I had so much fun participating in the AALL and Create's Polaroid Pop Challenge last week that I decided to make another Polaroid card, this time for the Day 4 - Birds theme. Since we have until the end of March to complete all the challenges, I'm going to keep playing and sharing with you. Just so that you know, Topflight Stamps is well stocked with AALL and Create's products, including Janet Klein's wonderful stamps!
This week's Polaroid was created with one of the fabulous birds from the Strange Birds Clear Stamp Set 464. The bird is perched on the tree from the Salvadore Clear Stamp Set 488. The sentiment is a combination of a sentiment from the Strange Birds set and the sentiment from the Time Warp Clear Stamp Set 472.
Here it is!
The bird from the Strange Birds Clear Stamp Set 464 was stamped with Memento ink onto white cardstock and onto repositionable label paper, which was fussy-cut, and placed over the bird on the image panel as a mask.
The tree and the clock stamp from the Salvadore Clear Stamp Set 488 was stamped onto the image panel and onto onto repositionable label paper, which was fussy-cut, and placed over the bird on the image panel as a mask.
The Profusion Stencil 84 was placed over the image panel. A ruler was positioned horizontally across the image panel, then Distress inks were brushed over the stencil onto the image panel.
The stencil was removed, the ruler was shifted to cover the top part of the image, and green Distress ink was brushed over the ruler along the bottom of the image panel
The masks were lifted and the images were colored with Copic markers.
The image panel was trimmed to 3" square and adhered to a 3.5" x 4" piece of white cardstock.
The sentiment, using sentiments from the Strange Birds set and the Time Warp Clear Stamp Set 472, were stamped onto white cardstock, die-cut, then adhered to the image panel as shown.
