It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. I've created a 7" x 5" Halloween Diorama card, which can stand on its own, yet folds to fit in a 7" x 5" envelope. I've used The Crow Unmounted Rubber Stamp Sheet 319 and The Crow Plate Unmounted Rubber Stamp Sheet 361 by Crafty Individuals with a sentiment from the versatile Classic Sentiments Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle.
Here's a front view of the card.
I started the card by stamping the The Crow Unmounted Rubber Stamp 319 by Crafty Individuals with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink onto Mixed Media paper.
Della Blue, Violet Chalk, Graphite, Sundance, and Henna Elements Inks by Lavinia Stamps were smooshed onto a craft mat, then used to watercolor the sky, the church, and the moon. The crow was colored with watercolor pens. The barbed wire was colored with a silver paint pen. The moon was highlighted with the Gelly Roll Bold Line Stardust® Clear Glittering Ink by Sakura to add a touch of glitter. A black paint pen was used to extend the image panel a tad.
The crow from the The Crow Plate Unmounted Rubber Stamp Sheet 361 by Crafty Individuals was stamped with Copic friendly ink, fussy-cut, colored with Copic markers, and edged with a black pen.
The feathers were stamped with Della Blue and Violet Chalk Elements Inks, fussy-cut, and edged with a grey or black marker.
The two sentiments were stamped with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink onto lavender cardstock, heat set, then die-cut.
The diorama card was created with lavender and black cardstock. The scene from the The Crow Unmounted Rubber Stamp 319 was adhered to the center of the black back panel of the card.
The barbed wire from the The Crow Plate Unmounted Rubber Stamp Sheet 361 was stamped onto the lavender front diorama panel with Onyx Black VersaFine Ink and embossed with Silver Detail Embossing Powder.
The two crows, the feathers, and the sentiment were adhered to the front of the diorama as shown. Silver Diamond Sparkle Gemstones by Hunkydory Crafts were used to cover the holes in nameplates.
The front panel was adhered to the back panel to finish the card.
