Oh Camel Ye Faithful

It's Tuesday, so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you today. But first, I wanted to let you know that the Christmas/Winter in July Sale has been extended through July 23rd -- AND there are loads of brand new wintry holiday products!

Seeing that it's still July and the sale has been extended, I decided to make another holiday card with the Camel Ye Faithful Clear Polymer Stamp Set by Hobby Art Ltd.

Here it is:

Here it is all by itself.

Use Copic-friendly black ink to stamp the Santa Hat from the Camel Ye Faithful Clear Polymer Stamp Set by Hobby Art Ltd. twice, once onto white cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper. Fussy-cut the hat and place it over its counterpart as a mask.

Position the front-facing camel from the Camel Ye Faithful Clear Polymer Stamp Set so that the top of its head is on the Santa hat. Stamp the camel twice, once onto the image panel and once onto repostionable sticker paper. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version and place it onto the camel as a mask.

Use tan Copic-friendly ink to stamp the sand dunes on the left, then the right of the camel's neck and twice onto label paper. Fussy-cut both label paper versions and place them over their counterparts on the image panel.

Brush light blue Copic-friendly ink horizontally across the masked images. Repeat with pink ink to add some warmth to the sky.

Remove and retain the masks.

Use one of the stitched circle dies from the Nested Circles Essentials Die Set by Studio Light to cut the image panel.

Use Copic markers to color. the camel, Santa Hat, and the sand dunes. Use a white gel pen to add catchlights to the camel's pupils.

Use the other dies from the Nested Circles Essentials Die Set to cut green, white, and red cardstock, then use the die-cuts to mat the image panel as shown.

Cut a piece of green cardstock to 5.75". Place the Music Notes 6x6 Grunge Stencil by Studio Light over it. Sponge or brush Olive Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps over the stencil onto the green panel, then edge the panel.

Use Shady Lane VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko to stamp the "Oh Camel..." sentiment from the Camel Ye Faithful Clear Polymer Stamp Set onto white cardstock. Trim the sentiment then use a punch to round the corners.

Use a bubbles die to cut white cardstock. Keeping the cardstock in the die, brush light blue ink through the holes onto the cardstock. Remove the bubbles die-cut and use a pink Copic marker to alter the color to match the sky.

Adhere the green cardstock panel to a white 6" square card. Adhere the image panel as shown. Use dimensional foam adhesive to adhere the sentiment panel. Adhere the bubbles between the sentiment and the camel's head.
