Hey Dude Card

Hello crafty friends! Ericka here with Strangely Creative, and I hope you are all doing wonderfully well! Today, I’m thrilled to share a fun and whimsical card that I crafted using one of my absolute favorite Hobby Art sets: Crazy Critters. This set never fails to bring a smile to my face with its delightful and quirky critter expressions. For today’s project, I’ve chosen the charming gecko/lizard image, pairing it with a piece of patterned paper from Craft Consortium for a playful touch.

To begin, I adhered the patterned paper to the edge of my card, creating a clever illusion of a wall. This added a fantastic backdrop for my gecko friend. Next, I stamped the gecko image onto the card, positioning it just right to bring the scene to life. I used the Spectrum Noir Colorista Watercolor Markers to color this guy up and added some shading to give our little gecko a bit more dimension and character.

To complete the card, I stamped the sentiment using Green Oasis Versafine Clair ink and then clear embossed it to add a touch of shine and texture. The vibrant green sentiment complements the geko perfectly, tying the whole card together.

Thank you so much for stopping by and checking out my latest creation. I hope this card brings a smile to your face and inspires you to create something wonderfully fun. Wishing you all a fabulous and creative week ahead!

Happy Crafting!

Ericka
