Hello

Hi friends. Alanna here on the blog with you today with this pair of cards featuring this beautiful feather image from the Forever in Your Heart set from Visible Image.

To get started, I took the Blue Moon Mist Spray from Lavinia and sprayed it onto pieces of watercolor cardstock that I had misted just a bit with water beforehand so that the spray would move a bit. I couldn't capture it in the photos, but these sprays are mica infused and the shine and shimmer in real life is just gorgeous.

After my panels were dry, I stamped the large feather image from the Forever in Your Heart set two times on each of the panels, rotating the panel after stamping the first image. I used my favorite black ink, the Versafine Claire Nocturne ink, to do the stamping. I added foam tape to the backs of these panels and added them to white A2 notecards.

I then stamped the hello sentiment which is from the Basic Wishes set from Studio Light onto some oval die cuts. I added those to my cards and then finished the cards off with a few white pearls.

I hope you've been inspired today.

My Coffee-Inspired Creation

For this blog hop, I wanted to capture the warm, cozy essence of coffee in a creative way. So, I reached for my trusty gel press prints and got stamping with the beautiful L'Encre et L'Image - Tea Time stamp set. Though it's tea-themed, I thought the images perfectly represented that café-inspired charm. After all, tea and coffee are just two sides of the same delicious coin, right?

I used one gel press print for stamping the images and another for the background. I love how gel prints give such a unique, textural feel—each one has its own personality, just like a cup of coffee made just the way you like it.

Crafty Bookmark Fun: A Mixed Media Adventure

Hello friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here, and today, I’m excited to share a fun mixed media project—creating a vibrant and playful bookmark using the Library Cubes stamp set by Stampotique Katzelkraft. If you’re a fan of books, bookmarks, and a little creativity, this is the perfect project to try!

I started by stamping the adorable stack of books from the Library Cubes set. To give them life and personality, I used my favorite Spectrum Noir Watercolor markers. These markers give the books that perfect blend of bold color and watercolor softness, ideal for a whimsical, yet artistic feel. Once the books dried, I masked them off to keep them protected while working on the background. Masking helps give the books the pop they deserve!

For the background, I wanted something subtle yet textured. I reached for the Studio Light Background 2 stamp and paired it with Portobello Versafine Clair ink. This ink gives such a rich and detailed impression—perfect for adding layers to mixed media projects.

No bookmark is complete without an inspiring word! Using the Darkroom Door Small Sketched Alphabet set, I stamped the word "READ" in big, bold letters. It’s a great reminder of what this bookmark is all about. To blend everything together, I lightly sponged some Lavinia Mermaid ink onto the background, adding a soft splash of color. This ink is perfect for layering, and it gives the bookmark a dreamy, almost underwater vibe.

For a final bit of fun, I added a few AALL & Create rub-ons. These are a great way to introduce a pop of color or a quirky detail that pulls the whole design together.

And voilĂ ! A fun and easy mixed media bookmark that’s perfect for any book lover. Whether you’re gifting it to a fellow reader or keeping it for your own page-turning adventures, this bookmark will definitely add a touch of creative flair to your reading time.

Until next time, happy crafting!

Have a Fabulous Day with Stampotique!

Hello, Lisa Hoel here again. This week our Topflight Stamps brand focus is Stampotique by Katzelkraft! I'm back again with a second card for you to check out. This time I used the Flos flower stamp for the image.

Lisa Hoel for Topflight Stamps #creativejuicefreshsqueezed #topflightstamps

I pulled some marbled and gel prints out of my stash for the background papers. Using a stamping platform, I stamped the image on another gel print, painted it with Fresco paints, and then restamped the image over the top to bring the details back. The sentiment is from the Visible Image
Birthday Wishes stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the Topflight Stamps store for a wide selection of different and hard to find stamps, stencils and other paper crafting supplies from all around the world! Also keep an eye here on the Topflight Stamps blog. There is new inspiration posted daily!

Relax, Unwind, and Breathe...

Greetings! It's Tuesday which means you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. This week the team is focusing on the Stampotique Stamps being released by Katzelkraft

Here's my card created with the Betsy Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp by Stampotique Stamps for Katzelkraft.

Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko to stamp Betsy, the bird, from the Betsy Unmounted Red Rubber Stamp by Katzelkraft twice –– once onto white cardstock and once onto repositionable sticker paper.

Fussy-cut Betsy's body and the ground from the sticker paper version and place them over their counterparts on the image panel.

Smoosh Della BlueBlue LagoonConfetti, and Sundance Elements Inks by Lavinia Stamps, one at a time, onto a piece of leftover packaging acetate, use a Fine Spray Misters by Spectrum Noir filled with 91% Isopropyl Alcohol to mist the ink on the acetate, then press it facedown onto the image panel over the masked areas. Be sure to clean and dry the acetate between colors to avoid contaminating the ink pads with another color. Continue this process until you're happy with the background. Heat set the image panel.

Remove the masks from the image panel and color Betsy and the ground with Copic markers. Use Copic markers to fill in any open areas on the background.

Use arch dies to create a frame from black cardstock. Use an intermediate-sized die to cut the image panel. Adhere the frame over the image panel die-cut.

Trim a piece of patterned paper from the Ink Drops - Candy 6x6 Essential Craft Papers by Craft Consortium to 4" wide to create a background panel. Edge the patterned paper background panel with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko.

Adhere the arch-framed image panel to the patterned paper background panel, then adhere to a black A6 card. Add the selected black sentiment stickers from the Uplifting Stickers by Lavinia Stamps to finish the card.

Please pop over to my blog, Kat's Tales of Stamping, for step-by-step instructions and complete supply lists.
