Welcome to the Topflight Stamps Blog. It's Clare here with you today and I wanted to share a recent journal page. I also have some very exciting news for Paperartsy fans! Look for our Stop Press at the bottom of the page.
For this project I used Carabelle Studio by Birgit Koopsen 'Loving Thoughts'. I wanted a very gentle feel to this project, to go with the delicate bloom.
When I work in my journal I love adding in layers with paper, paints, stencilling and stamping. I worked very loosely with watercolour crayons and then intensified the colours around the edges of the page with Paperartsy Fresco Acrylic paints.
I stamped the sentiment from the loving thoughts set with a watermark ink pad and used white EP. I added some different texture with a piece of burlap & painted cardstock.
I really enjoy letting loose and flicking some paint around! A few splatters breaks up the space in the centre and leads you to discover something new that you didn't see before.

There are always many new arrivals at Topflight and coming soon are some that I'm particularly excited about! Paperartsy will be landing some time in the not so distant future and accompanying the stamps are some of those delicious Paperatsy Fresco Acrylic Paints. They are available for pre-order, I doubt it will be long before they depart.
For all of you Katzelkraft fans you'll be pleased to know that there will also be a new shipment of their stamps due in 2-3 weeks. Exciting times!
Some more new arrivals are due at Topflight next week! Keep a look out for our the unveiling of our design team. The big reveal will be happening next week, providing you with a constant stream of inspiration.
