For the love of cake!

Hi It's Clare with you today for Topflight Stamps and I have been busy using this really cute little set from For the love of stamps - A Sweet Day.

I had lots of fun making a mini book to stamp, colour and put all of my sweet treats into one place.

I made a painted master board for my book, stamped and coloured using Neocolour II water soluble crayons.

It folds away nicely with a bit of bakers twine, a cute little gift for the discerning baker!

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you have enjoyed your visit?  Drop by tomorrow to stay updated with our latest makes.

Christmas In July Table Decoration

Welcome to the Topflight Stamps Blog!

Hello crafty friends it's Irit here today. Welcome to my second Christmas in July Topflight Stamps post.

A week ago I shared my blue colored Winter card made with the IndigoBlu gorgeous "Looks like rain, dear" stamp set. Today I want to show you how the very same stamp set can be used for a traditional colored 3d art recycled piece.

This art piece was made using the clear plastic spool that was left after I finished the ribbon  from this spool. I covered  the bottom with patterned card stock and covered the top with stamps and die cut circle using the background stamp from this stamp set:

I stamped using black pigmented ink and clear embossing powder and then misted with red mist. The deer from the same set was stamped in the same heat embossing technique, hand cut and glued over the dollar store plastic Christmas greenery.

The sentiment was stamped with green permanent ink and then die cut and glued over the leftover circle from the previous step.
This is just an example of an easy and inexpensive kind of Holiday crafting. Everyone has those plastic spools. Anyone can buy a dollar store green leaves.

Now I hope you will go to Topflight Stamps shop, pick this adorable stamp set and make a few of those altered spools that can be used as place cards stands or table decorations!!

And just to show you how adorable this 3d piece is I took another photo with different staging.

I really hope that you liked my altered project today and see you in a week with something totally different. If you want to see more of my work you mostly welcome to my own blog!

Christmas Tags

Welcome to the Topflights Stamp blog.   Steph here again showcasing the Stitched Angel Ornaments Stamp set from Creative Expressions.  Be sure to check out the store to see all the amazing stamps from around the world.  This set comes from England.

We are continuing this week with a Christmas in July theme and I've made some Christmas tags this week.

I stamped the tree, the star and the angel with embossing ink and heat set each with gold embossing powder.  Next, I fussy cut each piece.

My first tag starts with a shipping tag which I covered with blue pattern paper.  I stamped and embossed small stars on the tag then added the large star on top with foam adhesives.  Merry Christmas was added on a slight angle under the star.

For my next tag, I used some fun and festive Christmas paper and placed the angel on top with foam adhesives.

Finally, I placed the tree atop a green  print with foam adhesives for dimension.  I stamped Merry Christmas, and for a different effect, I cut it apart and added the words in 2 spots on the tag.

These will look absolutely adorable on Christmas packages, don't you think?

Thanks for stopping by and please pop by my blog for more crafty inspiration.

See you next Tuesday.

Oh Little Town....

Hi guys.  It's Clare with you today to share with you my second project of Topflight Stamps, Christmas in July.  A little less traditional today but I have chosen to go with some bright and zingy colours to make a vibrant snowy town scene.

I prepared my card using Paperartsy Fresco Acrylic paints.  I stamped a row of Rubberdance Textured Houses onto white tissue paper, heat embossed and put them onto my card with matt medium.

I am really excited to have this set of stamps!  I can se so many uses such as new home cards and I cant wait to use these in a journal spread.

I added some extra colour to the houses using some Neocolour II water soluble crayons before adding some of my own doodles and highlighting the windows.  Finally some sparkly stickles to layer the houses with snow!

It's Donna here today and I have a Christmas card to kick our Christmas in July Sale. All items in the Christmas/Winter Category are 25% from today through Friday, July 28!! No code needed.

I made this card using the Crafty Individuals Snowflake Rudolph stamp. I just stamped with Versafine ink and water colored the image. I also add some Zazz Icicle Glitter glue to the snowflakes to add a little sparkle. And I added brown to the edges with a Tombow Mono marker. I love that this stamp is so detailed you don't have to add much to the card to make it interesting.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in July!

Welcome to the Topflight Stamps Blog!

Irit here today and I am going to share my Christmas in July inspiration for Topflight StampsLet's begin from two odd things first.

How can we even think about making Winter and Holidays  projects with this heat outside? But, actually we all do. Lots of sites  show Christmas releases and projects right now. It make the outside less hot, for me at least. Second important odd thing is that I am Jewish and we don't even celebrate Christmas, but we do celebrate New Year and Winter season.

But for me Christmas is all about my childhood. I was born in Ukraine and moved to Israel when I was about 15, so I still remember and adore all Holiday symbols, colors and tastes and I really love to craft for my friends and part of my family.

Finally, here is my Christmas in July card for you to see.

As you can see it's a layered scene made with one single stamp set- IndigoBlu " Looks like rain, dear" red rubber stamps set.
For my card, I used the small stamps from the set, all five of them. Some were stamped directly on the card stock and some were stamped and hand cut and then glued over the card. The sentiment spot was stamped, die cut and added on the corner.

As you can see I used 4 wave dies (just non-branded cheap ones) to make the snow landscape.
I used  acrylic paint to make the blue background and added "snow effect" with white pearlized 3d paint.

I hope that you liked my Winter inspiration today and next week I am going to share the totally different project made with the very same stamp set. And as for now- run to the shop and see the largest in USA selection of non-USA artistic stamps and  the best ever Holiday section.

If I made my very first Holiday project you  should think about it too. And if you want to visit my blog and to see more of my work- you are mostly welcome!

Wishing You Heavenly Holidays

Welcome to the Topflights Stamps Blog!

It's Steph here again showcasing another wonderful stamp set from Topflight Stamps and this one comes from England.

I've used a stamp set from Creative Expressions -  Stitched Angel Ornaments.  This stamp set has 13 stamps including 4 phrases.

Stitched Angel Ornaments

To create my distressed card, I stamped the stars randomly on a white panel with blue ink, then inked around the stars with brown ink.

I created a square card, added pattern paper and tied a ribbon around the card.  Then I matted the panel with cardstock, and added it to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.   The phrase was stamped as previously described and added to the card front.

Thanks for stopping by and please pop by my blog for more crafty inspiration.

See you next Tuesday.

A Carabelle Studio Christmas

Welcome to the Topflight Stamp Blog!

It's Clare with you today and this week at Topflight Stamps we are creating Christmas in July!  Now I probably only make a handful of Christmas projects each year as working in a school, it is one of the most busiest times of the year.  What with carol services,  nativities and fitting in the Christmas shopping, it doesn't always leave me with an abundance of time for creating.

Now a sensible crafter would be making their Christmas cards throughout the year!  Maybe I should take stock and start creating a few so that I'm organized!

I started off by stamping the snowman from Carabelle Studio A6 - Snowman.
Snowman

I Stamped the snowman again onto a post it note and cut it out to mask off Frosty.  Using some Hickory Smoke distress ink, I worked the ink around the card.  I stamped the snowflakes around him too.  Using the same colour distress ink and a water brush I added some colour to our frosty friend to give him some dimension.

I'm feeling rather pleased that it's only July and  I'm already ahead of the game for Christmas!

Pop back tomorrow for some more Christmas themed inspiration.

We're starting Christmas in July today.  It's never too soon to get started on your Christmas Cards. I've used a Katzelkraft stamp called Sapiens de Noel. I colored the images and the card base edges with Tombow Markers. I love how the trees are Zentagled. It'a fun and unique Christmas stamp. Stay tuned for more Christmas in July inspiration.
