Visible Image Butterfly Ink

Hello Topflight Fans! Ericka here today with a quick card I made using Faber Castel gelatos and some Visible Image stamps. I've had these gelatos in my stash for awhile and finally decided to play with them. I love the way they look with these fun Visible Image stencils - Butterfly Ink and Strobes.

I used the Strobe Stencil on top of the Butterfly stencil to give the butterfly some lines and combined the pink and purple on different parts of the butterfly.

This was so fun to play with and I might have to get my gelatos out more and find some different ways to use them.

The sentiment is from Look Forward with Hope Set also from Visible Image. For more information on how I created my card, feel free to stop by my blog Strangely Creative.

Visible Image Stamps with Guest Designer Cornelia

Hi Everybody,

Cornelia here today with my fifth and last post as guest designer. I had such a great time guest designing. Thank you Donna and Lisa for picking me!
I had my eyes on that gorgeous Visible Image stamp set for a while. I am so happy I could add it to my stash of treasured stamps.

My supplies:

I first stamped the flowers and masked them. I then took a strip of Post it tape and tore it in half and masked off a strip on the left of my card. I sponged in rainbow colors. Added a bit of Stickles to the flowers and the dots around the flowers. Added the sentiment and two little gemstones.

I hope you liked this!
Happy Stamping!

Koi

Hello, friends!  Today I'm sharing a card featuring  Katzelkraft Koi Fish. Aren't those fish amazing? Both here and in real life! We had a pond which briefly had fish. Briefly because herons got to two of them. Poor things.

I stamped the fish using Versafine Onyx Black and watercolored them with Zig Real Brush Markers. I chose the sentiment thinking I might use this as a sympathy card.

Microchip Notebook

Hello, Jennalee here today with a notebook inspired by the Stamperia Microchip Stencil.

I began by spreading texture paste thru the stencil. Once dry I used a mix of green and blue spray inks to color the background. The red, yellow and orange accents were added with Seth Apter's

Baked Velvet Embossing Powder.

I then added more detail with brads and distress crayons.

I embossed some metal components with the Crimson powder.

I attached the layered metal components to the front cover of the notebook and then bound.

High Flying Fun with Dots to Diamonds

Hello, Lisa Hoel here! Topflight Stamps has a new line of products from Hunkydory called Dots to DiamondsHave you been seeing the great Design Team projects on the blog all this week? Scroll back and you will be inspired! You can get the paper pads that are preprinted with dot designs. Some dots are foiled and others are marks to show where you can add the pearls and rhinestones bling. (Use your stash of bling or buy color coordinated packs!) It is so easy to quickly create a sparkly card for any special occasion!

Preprinted sheets!

I used the hot air balloon page for this card:

I inked the balloon design with Prism inks and then trimmed it out of the page. After that I glued the gemstones onto the balloon. I also used matching Stickles glitter glue to fill in some of the dots when I didn't have quite enough gemstones. It worked perfectly!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great rest of the weekend! Below is a list of supplies I used.

Sunshine Dots

Happy almost weekend Topflight fans! Ericka here today with a bright and shimmery card using the Dots to Diamonds Paper Pad and some sparkly Hunkydory gemstones. I chose my design and then used Distress Oxides to blend the colors.

I love the variety of designs this paper pad has and that you can make any type of sentiment fit with the design. For this card I used a sentiment from Visible Image called Look Forward with Hope.

Here is another card I made using the musical note design and some sprays.

These are so fun to play with and to create any type of card. My 4 year old even got in on some of the action and made a fun birthday card for her Nana.

Thanks for stopping by and if you would like more details on how I created my cards, feel free to stop by Strangely Creative for more information. Have a wonderful weekend!

Guest Designer Cornelia with Dots to Diamonds

Hi Everybody,

Cornelia here today with my fourth post as guest designer. I am again playing with this new product called Dots to Diamonds. It is a paper pack of 48 high quality cardstock cards with preprinted patterns, that you can adorn with gemstones or Stickles or whatever you have at hand. There are 6 different patterns in every pack.

In addition, you can purchase those sparkly gems in every color you can imagine.

My supplies:

The rest is pretty easy. I masked the circle of my card and sponged around in rainbow colors. Added mostly gems to the dots, but also a bit of Stickles. And that was all. Can't be easier than that. LOVE all the sparkle!

I hope you liked this.

I will be back next Thursday with my last inspiration!

Fairy Sparkles

Ooh, sparkles! Are you familiar with painting with diamonds? Well, Hunkydory had the brilliant idea of combining that with cardmaking.

I'm using a sheet from Hunkydory Dots to Diamonds Paper Pad 1 along with Hunkydory Diamond Sparkles Gemstones Precious Purples and Pretty Pinks.

I sponged a bit of Distress Oxide Twisted Citron on the bottom of the card front after placing the gems.

Adding one of the Lavinia Three Dancing Fairies was next.  I used Versafine Onyx Black.

Finally I added the Debbi Moore Designs Fairy Life Quotes 21, masking off the stars top and bottom. So sparkly!

Mix Media Monday with Hunkydory at Topflight Stamps

Happy Mix Media Monday, Karen Bearse here with a whimsical, fun art journal page. I have a full tutorial with step-out pics on my blog. This week the team are playing with Dots to Diamonds by HunkyDory. They have paper pads with images that have spots for you to put the bling- kinda like a paint by number, only you choose the color!

Here is my page, after adding my bling to the butterfly, I choose to make a watercolor painted background, with some stamping.

This is Paper Pad 1 which I choose a butterfly sheet out of. The pack comes with 12 designs- 4 sheets of each. There are fun dandelions, whimsical leaves, a celestial sky & lots more options.

This is how my project started out, to give you an idea of how the sheet looks. I simply stamped that cute owl from the PaperArtsy set- Zinski Art 41in an archival ink & created my page.

I used a watercolor set like this one by Art By Marlene- to make my background.

I used the Diamond Sparkle Precious Pearls in Vintage Brown for the wings & Brilliant Blue Gemstones for the body.  I have to say I had a lot of fun playing with the bling. It was very relaxing just adding the sparkles. I hope you have a chance to get blingy today!! Thanks for joining me.
