Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!  You'e got Kathi here today because the 7th Birthday Hop took place on Tuesday, my usual day to share a project with you. However, before I get to my Easter card, let me remind you that Topflight Stamps birthday sale ends at midnight tonight, March 31st. Second, if you have not done the 7th Birthday Blog Hop, you'd better hurry and finish so that you have the chance to win a great prize. Start on Topflight Stamps' Blog and/or Topflight Stamps Instagram - @topflightstamps !

Here's my Easter card!

As per my usual method of creating a scene, I did a whole lot of stamping and masking using a variety of stamps. Using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko the trolley from the Versi Trolley Clear Stamp Set 1059 by Autour de Mwa for AALL and Create was stamped twice —once onto white cardstock and a second time onto repositionable sticker paper, which was fussy-cut, and placed over its counterpart on the image panel. The Easter Bunny and Easter Eggs from the same stamp set was positioned so that the elements would be on the trolley, then stamped twice using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, again once onto the image panel and once onto sticker paper.

Low tack tape was placed on the image panel horizontally below the trolley's wheels.  One of the acetate masks from the Mini Hills Masks/Stencil Set by Lavinia Stamps was placed across the image panel then Copic-friendly blue ink was brushed over the mini-hill mask and the masked images to create the sky.

I traced the mask onto a piece of cardstock, fussy-cut along the traced lines to make a homemade mask to cover the blue sky. The acetate mask used to create the sky was placed right below the homemade mask. Copic-friendly green ink was brushed over the top of the acetate mask. The acetate mask was moved down the image panel and the green ink was brushed over the top again. This process was repeated until the hill was mostly completed. Lighter green ink was brushed over the area to fill in the grassy hill.

The acetate mask from the Mini Hills Masks/Stencil Set was placed over the top-most hill and the homemade mask was set aside.

Using a stamping platform, foliage portions from the large tree from the Let's Play Shop Clear Stamp Set 1044 by Autour de Mwa for AALL and Create were positioned so that they'd sit on the crest of the hill behind and around the trolley. Green Copic-friendly ink was used to ink and stamp the foliage/bushes.

Small grass tufts from the Let's Play Shop Clear Stamp Set were stamped with Copic friendly ink. Longer grass tufts from the Sugar Delights Clear Stamp Set 1045 by Autour de Mwa for AALL and Create was stamped with the same green ink.

Tuxedo Black Memento Ink was used to stamp the birds from the and butterflies from the Fresh Air Clear Stamp Set 1048 by Autour de Mwa onto the sky.

The low-tack tape used to ground the trolley was removed, a ruler was placed over the grassy area, then Copic-friendly grey ink was brushed over the ruler onto the image panel to create a roadway. The ruler was removed and the rocky road stamps from the Versi Trolley Clear Stamp Set 1059 by Autour de Mwa were positioned between the grass and the road. inked with grey Copic-friendly ink, then stamped.

All the masks were lifted and the elements were all colored with Copic markers.

A 4.75" x 6.75" piece of grey cardstock was cut with the largest die from the Frayed Frames Die Set 26 by AALL and Create to create a window to frame the scene on the image panel.

Black cardstock was cut with one of the borders included in the Frayed Frames Die Set 26 by AALL and Create, then adhered to a thin strip of grey cardstock.

Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko was used to stamp the "Happy Easter" sentiment from the Classic Sentiments Clear Stamp Set by Hefty Doodle onto grey cardstock. Black detail embossing powder was poured onto the stamped sentiment, the excess was dumped off, and the sentiment was heat set. A nameplate cutting die was used to cut the sentiment. Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink was used to edge the grey-cardstock frame, the border strip, and the sentiment.

The border was adhered across the bottom part of the grey card front. The sentiment die-cut was adhered to the center of the border.

The card front was adhered to a 5" x 7" card. Two black gemstones were used to adorn the sentiment die-cut to finish the card.

PaperArtsy Squares Card

Hello friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here and today I am playing with some PaperArtsy to create an artsy card. I started out with the new JOFY PS 423 Grid Journal stencil and pulled out my PaperArtsy Fresco Acrylic Paints in Beach Hut, Aquamarine, Mermaid, Berry Nice, Globe Thistle, Moon Light

Once my background was dry, I used the Tracy Scott Mini 09 & 13 stamps and added an image into each square. I added some white and black pen details along with a little gold for fun.

I finished my card with the PaperArtsy Life & Living sentiments and clear embossed it. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend. Don't forget to check out the sale going on now!

Happy Birthday with AALL & Create

Hello Crafties, Mary Key here! Just a reminder check out the Topflight Birthday Blog Hop and others on Instagram, you can win!

For my Happy Birthday card, Used AAll & Create #964 Girl Birthday, #962 Boy Birthday and #660 Texture Sampler, all by Janet Klein. I had fun making this cute card. Also, supplies I used are Lavina Dinkles - Sea Blue, Yellow, Lime Divine, and Pine Green along with some watercolor paper.

I first stamped my images and did some watercoloring using my watercolor brushes and then did some fussy cutting.

I then used first Lavinia Dinkles Sea Blue (only a little goes a long way) onto my matt. First I spritz a little water onto my mat and used a fan brush to sprinkle a little of the color and a little more spritzing some water. I smooshed just the top and drying my watercolor paper with my heat embossing gun. I lttle more color and heat again. Then I used Dinkles Yellow (same process) and lastly a little Dinkles Lime Divine and a lttle of Dinkles Pine Green to get a little darker green.

I then stamped the little flags in Versafine Clair - Nocturne and then fussy cut the little flags that were colored already and glued; then I started with the #660 Texture Sampler and sorted onto my cardstock panel and cut some areas and glue it. Then used foam tape to raise my boy and girl. I used the sentiment from #964 Girl Birthday (it has the same Happy Birthday for the Boy Birthday) in Versafine Clair Nocturne

Here is the completed card on white cardstock. I had fun watercoloring, smooshing and fussy cutting these cute stamped images.

Thank you for stopping by and keep crafting!

Sending you Strength with a fun Emboss Resist Technique

Hi friends. Alanna back on the blog today sharing a card that features a fun emboss resist technique.

To get started, I took the Temporal stamp from AALL & Create and heat embossed it onto white card stock using some pewter embossing powder. I then blended on top Versafine Claire Nocturne ink all over top of my image, really getting a lot of black ink on it.

I buffed away any ink that was sitting on top of the embossing and what you are left with is this. I love that this all started out as white card stock. I trimmed the panel down and added it to a cream A2 notecard. I then added a stamped sentiment which is from the More Classic Sentiments set from Heffy Doodle.

Find these products I used in the Topflight Stamps store below. Crafty hugs! ~ Alanna

I finished my card by adding a hand-drawn border around my card. Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!

Coffee is a Hug in a Mug

 Hi Everyone,

Topflight Stamps is one of the sponsors of the current Spring/summer Coffee Lovers blog hop! DT member Cornelia here today. I could not resist to make a card for this occasion!
I first stamped the coffee pot and colored it with alcohol ink markers. Cut it out. Used one of the pages from the Wood Textures paper pad. Brushed some distress ink on it to give it more depth.  Then I stamped  pot again onto the paper. Added the sentiment. Trimmed the card and mounted it onto black card stock. Added some enamel dots from my stash.
I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.
See you next week with more Topflight Stamps inspiration.

And here are the stamp supplies I used:

AALL&Create #643 Hot DrinksCoffee Please (similar set than what I used)

Keep Calm & Be Crazy

Hello Crafties, Mary Key here! I will be using stamps from Katzelkraft using KTZ193 Monsters and KTZ222 Relax Sentiments and Lavinia Dinkles.

I am also using watercolor paper. I like making the night sky colorful and will be using Deep Yellow, Magenta, Sea Blue and Paynes Grey. I first use the Deep Yellow - sprinkle a little on my matt with a little water and smoosh my watercolor paper onto it and heat dry with my heat embossing tool. I do the same for Magenta and then Sea Blue. After that I use a lot more of Paynes Grey which can turn nice and dark black tones to the corners of my watercolor paper and heat dry until I am satisfied, then sprinkle a little silver acrylic paint.

I then start using KTZ193 Monsters onto watercolor paper and then fussy cut my little monsters. Now to use a sentiment in this KTZ222 Relax Sentiments, Ther are lots to use and so many ways to have fun. I chose "Keep Calm & Be Crazy" for my card, and used WOW! Opaque Brith White embossing powder for the sentiment onto my background and arranged my card. I used white cardstock to complete my card.

Thank you for stopping by and keep creating!
