On the wings of Love!

Welcome to Topflight Stamps Blog.  Clare with you this evening.  We are all anticipating a brand new start to the new year and what better way to start by sharing the love!

My love themed tag came to me when I opened this set from Carrabelle Studios, Heart & Bird.

Using a tag prepared with Distress Oxides Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves & Fossilised Amber. I stamped some butterflies from another Carrabelle Studio set, Loving thoughts and some other stamps from my crafty stash.

I also added in some black stamping to give greater depth.  The heart was stamped with Picked Raspberry Distress Oxides and heat embossed with clear powder.

I prepared my own title, cut everything out and attached to my tag.  I couldn't resist a little white doodling too!

There I still time to take advantage of our end of year sale.  There is 20% off selected stamps, this is valid until midnight EST.

Can I take this opportunity to wish you a Happy New Year filled with love & craftiness!

Happy Crafting,

Clare

Art altered notebook cover with Rubber Dance

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my last for 2017 Topflight Stamps post.
This time I just used one single Rubber Dance stamps to make the altered cover of the small, card sized, notebook.

This notebook was " striped" from the inside pages that were then added after to cover was altered.
I used fabric for the cover and made it in this messy Mixed Media style using a lot of painted chipboards, texture paste and stencils on the back and a mix of paints and mists to get these grungy colors

The main image was stamped over the thick white cardstock using black pigmented ink and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
The colors were added with distress inks and some water over it.

This is the single Rubber Dance stamp I used to make this project:
Rubber Dance - Mona Lisa Stamp

I hope that you liked my altered project  and love Rubber Dance stamps as much as I do.
You can  buy this set and much more in the Topflight Stamps shop.

Christmas Card Holder with PaperArtsy

Hello Topflight Stamps Fans!! Karen Bearse here, first wishing you a Happy Holidays!!! I hope whatever you celebrate you got to do it with friends & family, & that they were healthy & happy! Today I have a fun card holder that was pretty easy to make while I was traveling over the holidays.

Being in the Christmas spirit I decided to create this wonderful box. The background was made using Dylusions paints & stencils by Stencil Girl. I made the box ahead of time & all I needed was to bring some stamps, ink & watercolor brushes.

The stamp set I used is by PaperArtsy & is called Zinski Art 18. I just love these whimsical images. Don't they remind you of Whoville from the Grinch That Stole Christmas?

The box I used is made from a die designed by Eileen Hull for Sizzix. It is Card Box, from the Book Club Collection. I had to add this photo, shot from my Mother-in-laws beautiful Christmas tree!!

Here is a close up for you. For more pictures you can head over to my blog. Have a wonderful Thursday & a very Happy New Year!!!

Merry & Bright

Welcome to the Topflight Stamps Blog and a Merry Christmas to you all! It's Clare with you today, I hope you are all enjoying the festivities.  I'm sharing today, a giant tag, using Paperartsy/Tracy Scott stamp set #10.

Using a wide range of Paperartsy Fresco Acrylic paint, I stamped onto painted card, heat embossed and embarked on a lot of fussy cutting!

I just loved doodling and decorating the stars with white pen.  I arranged the stars and flowers around the tag and layered some of them.  Because the stamped images were so bright, the tag owned it's title, which I layered on by stamping onto tissue and collaged them on.

Wishing you all a fabulous Christmas and I look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

Happy Crafty Christmas,

Clare

Plant Dreams with IndigoBlu stamps

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Topflight Stamps post.
This time I made a card using one large IndigoBlu stamp and the sentiment that was added using another company stamp from Topflight Stamps shop. (For the Love of  Stamps one).

The 4 layered background was made with 3 matching  card size dies in three different colors and the main image was stamped and water colored with Zig brush markers.
I actually used just a part of the colored image as it is a large image and I still wanted to show the die cut background.

The sentiment was stamped and then die cut to make this circled sentiment spot on the corner.

Here are the stamps I used to make this project:
IndigoBlu - Cling Mounted Stamp - Country House

For the Love of Stamps - Barrow of Blooms - Clear Stamp Set

I hope that you liked my card today.
You can  buy this set and much more in the Topflight Stamps shop.

Time for Golf with IndigoBlu

Welcome to the Topflights Stamp blog.  Steph Ackerman here again showcasing stamps from IndigoBlu - Fairway to Heaven.

I began by stamping the image in black ink and the phrase a second time.  I added a touch of color to the golfer's pants and shirt.

I love the grungy effect so in keeping with that theme, I tore the stamped panel and inked it with Distress Ink.  I added an inked panel of kraft cardstock to the card and wrapped it with twine.  The golf panel was added with foam adhesives.

The second phrase was inked, then matted with kraft cardstock and added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Thanks for stopping by and please pop by my blog for more crafty inspiration.

See you next Tuesday

Make a wish

Welcome to the Topflight Blog.  It's Clare with you today sharing a little Dandelion wish with you all from Lavinia Stamps.  Christmas preparations are well underway, a very busy time of the year!  So I'm granting you all a few minutes of time  to make a wish, for yourself or maybe for someone else?

I inked up my background, by dipping onto my surface at first and then gradually building up the layers by blending with my distress tool.

I stamped, using black ink with whimsical wisps & Make a dandelion  and decorated with stickles for a little magical sparkle.

What will you wish for this Christmas?  Thank you for taking the time to stop today.  Remember to stop by and read our daily blog posts.

Happy Crafting,

Clare.

Rubber Dance SOAR Door Hanger

Welcome to the Topflight Stamps Blog!

Today, I made a Mixed Media altered wooden door hanger using a couple of delicious Rubber Dance stamps.

The wooden base was  first covered with white gesso and then stencilled texture image were added with a stencil and heat embossed with a mix of embossing powders. Some of the powders were with a bit of glitter.
The whole piece was then misted with a mix of mists.
Then The Studio Light background was stamped over the textured base to add some interest.
The die cut and the chipboard wing were arranged with a few flowers as the main image base.

The main image was stamped with black pigmented ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder and then colored with Distress Oxide inks and glued on the top.

The Rubber Dance sentiment was stamped as one single stamp and then hand cut to strips and glued in a kind of art journal over the finished piece.

And here is another view of the project from the side:

Here are the stamps from Topflight Stamps shop used to make this project:

Rubber Dance - Large Postoid Stamp

Rubber Dance - Hummingbird Stamp

Studio Light background

Thanks for being here with me today and see  you next week!
I hope that you liked my altered project   and love Rubber Dance stamps as much as I do.
You can  buy this set and much more in the Topflight Stamps shop.

Let's Play with Stamps!

Hello, happy Thursday from Topflight Stamps!

It's Day 12 the last day of our 12 Days of Christmas Deals. Today's sale is 25% off all Christmas Wreath Stamps!!

Karen Bearse here, I love, love stamps & had fun working from multiple sets this week. I made an inky page in my ARTifacts Book Collaboration.

Creating lots of color was easy using Distress Crayons & lots of background stamping. Most of the stamping was done with Archival Inks. These inks tend to create a crisp, bright image especially on an already painted background.

I decided to continue on from last week, with the same stamp Set 4 from PaperArtsy by designer Seth Apter. These letters make for great background stamps.

I wanted to add some circles to the background as well, so the Doodle set by Zorotte was a good choice.

Next, I also added the star from the Wood Chip set, with the corresponding star stamp.

Finally, the page needed a little something else, so I chose to ink & color one of the newer stamp sets from Carabelle Studio- Steampunk the Butterfly Effect.

Here is a close-up of 2 of my elements. The Star was painted & embossed, the moth inked & colored with Distress Crayons & ink. Thanks for joining me today. If you want to see more of this project check it out on my blog. See you next week!
