It's Tuesday which means that you have Kathi here to share a project with you today! Our product focus this week is AALL and Create.
Here's a Christmas card created with AALL and Create's Retro Treasures Clear Stamp Set 1219, the Grumpy Traveler Clear Stamp Set 1273, the Miss Merry Clear Stamp Set 608, and the Miss Catty Meow Clear Stamp Set 1037. I've also used the Frayed Frames Die Set 26, the Snap Thoughts Die Set 90, and the Bubble Talk Die Set 72.
You should use a stamping platform or a stamp positioner while creating this project.
Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko to stamp the TV from the Retro Treasures Clear Stamp Set 1219 by AALL and Create three times — once onto a piece of white cardstock and twice onto repositionable sticker paper, which will be fussy-cut and used as masks.
Position the cat's head from the cat stamp from the Grumpy Traveler Clear Stamp Set 1273 by AALL and Create facedown on the image panel so that his head is within the TV screen. Ink the head and shoulders of the cat with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamp.
Place a piece of Removable Scotch Tape over the top of the TV. Stamp one of the gift stacks stamps from the Retro Treasures Clear Stamp Set 1219 f with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and stamp onto the image panel and onto a piece of repositionable sticker paper.
Use alcohol markers to color the stamped images and use a light grey ink to outline them.
Fussy-cut the other sticker paper TV and place it over its counterpart as a mask. Fussy-cut the sticker paper version of the gifts and place it over its counterpart as a mask.
Place wood paper washi tape under the feet of the TV console. Use the largest of the dies from the Frayed Frames Die Set 26 by AALL and Create to cut the image panel. Leave the die in place and brush grey dye ink over the cutting dye and the masked images onto the image panel.
Use the second largest die from the Snap Thoughts Die Set 90 by AALL and Create to cut grey and striped patterned paper. Layer the patterned papers as shown.
Use one of the speech bubble dies from the Bubble Talk Die Set 72 by AALL and Create to cut a scrap of white cardstock.
Use Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko to stamp "Christmas" and the letter "y" from the Miss Merry Clear Stamp Set 608 by AALL and Create plus the "Meow" Sentiment Stamp from the Miss Catty Meow Clear Stamp Set 1037 onto the Speech Bubble die-cut.
Adhere the image panel die-cut to the layered patterned paper. Adhere the sentiment-speech bubble die-cut as shown. Adhere the card front to a grey card that is .25" larger than the card front.
