Greetings! It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi to share a project with you. I was feeling a bit overwhelmed when a project totally went south, so I fell back on the tried and true adage, "When in doubt, CAT, using a variety of stamps, stencils, and ink."
So here's my card.
The first step was to stamp the tee shirt from the Nothing To Wear Clear Polymer Stamp Set onto white card. One of the cats from the Tall Cats Clear Stamp Set #463 by Janet Klein for AALL and Create was stamped onto the tee shirt and onto a piece of repositionable label paper, which was fussy-cut to serve as a mask.
Pink and lavender ink were sponged over the cat mask onto the tee shirt, then the same colors were brushed over a stencil by Alexandra Renke. The mask was lifted and Copics were used to both color the cat and to add some shading to the tee shirt. The tee-shirt was fussy-cut, edged with a dark marker, and set aside.
A piece of white cardstock was brushed with Periwinkle Prism Ink by Hunkydory Crafts and heat set, then the same pink and lavender inks were brushed over the Time Tunnel Stencil by Visible Image.
Onyx Black VersaFine Ink by Tsukineko was used to stamp "Purrfect" from the Felines Clear Stamp Set #408 by Janet Klein for AALL and Create onto pawprint patterned paper, which was then die-cut, brushed with pink and lavender ink.
The background panel was adhered to a greyish/lavender A2 card. The tee-shirt was adhered then the sentiment die-cut was adhered to finish the card.
