Happy Halloween!

Greetings and Happy Halloween! It's Kathi here today to share two Halloween cards created with the fabulous Twisted Tree Red Rubber Cling Stamp Set by Darkroom Door, plus stencils, masks, and ink.

I recently returned from a trip to Bodega Bay, California. We traveled through Bodega, which was the setting for  Albert Hitchcock's masterpiece, The Birds. Hence this card which also uses the Time Flies Stencil by Visible Image, the Acetate Hills Mask by Lavinia StampsDella Blue, and Pine Elements Ink by Lavinia Stamps, and a sentiment from the Classic Sentiments Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle.

This slightly scarier second card features Twisted Tree Red Rubber Cling Stamp Set with the Acetate Circles Mask by Lavinia Stamps, the Halftone Skull Stencil by Creative Expressions, all four colors of Elements Ink listed below, and a sentiment from the  Holiday Sentiment Duos Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle combined with a sentiment from the featured Darkroom Door set.

Vintage Christmas Card Tutorial with Studio Light $5 Stamps

Hi guys and happy Saturday!  Woot!  It's Autumn from SewPaperPaint here with you today to share some Christmas card stash building ideas with you.  I had a blast making these vintage wintery cards and I'm showing you just how easy it is to work in multiples in this quick video tutorial found HERE.  I really hope this gets your creative juices flowing to build your own Christmas card stash.  You could use any colors or any collage style stamps.  I chose the $5 Studio Light collage stamps, and sadly Donna has discontinued these in particular, but there are some other similar ones that I've linked below.  I used the gorgeous PaperArtsy stencil PS070 by Kay Carley for the background.

Check out these other gorgeous collage style stamps and let me know if you find the video helpful.  xx, Autumn

Visible Image Christmas

I can't believe that it is the end of October and that Christmas season is almost here. Ericka here with Strangely Creative and today I'm continuing the Christmas card theme on the blog with this card using the Visible Image stamps and stencils.

I started with a gel press print that I had made using the PaperArtsy Fresco Paints in Gumboots and Cerulean and the PaperArtsy JOFY PS230 stencil. I then used the Visible Image Christmas background stamp with the new Distress Oxide in Rustic Wilderness. I then used the Visible Image Iconic Christmas stencil with texture paste and embossing powders.

Once my texture paste was dry, I heated the embossing powder and added the sentiment from the Visible Image Christmas Chaos set in black Versamark ink. I love this fun stencil and can't wait to create some Christmas tags. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Crafty Individuals - Luigi the Llama

     Hi Everyone,

Cornelia here today!
This week we are showcasing Christmas stamps. A good way to increase my Christmas card pile!

May I introduce to you Luigi the Llama! He is from Crafty Individuals. A stamp company from England that makes really fabulous stamps. I am very much a fan of them!
As you can see, the stamp is rather large, so you don't need anything else really. I colored using markers and Inktense pencils.  As so often, a simple card. I heat embossed the sentiment and added it with foam tape.

I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.
See you next week with more Topflight Stamps inspiration.

Celebrate Christmas with Darkroom Door

Hi, Connie here with a mixed media type Christmas card using
six different Darkroom Door stamps/sets along with some
clear embossing powder.  If you love the distressed look, this
is a fun project for you.

This is a 5"X5" card.  The snowflakes are clear embossed,
creating a resist.  I used two color combos of Distressed Oxide
ink to get the blue distressed sky look.

The tree is stamped with Distress Oxide, trimmed out and then speckled
with water.  The funky border is the Abstract 09 stamp. I really
love what it brings to a project!
The other enhancements are
stamped with Archival ink and trimmed out.

I used dimensional adhesive to pop up the images (Santa,
sleigh and the numbers).  The sentiment is two different stamps
that are stamped out creating the sentiment.  I love the script
and print together!!

The card is speckled with white acrylic paint (using an old
toothbrush), to complete the card front.  Adhere to a folded
card base.

Celebrate — You've Got This

Greetings! It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. This week my teammates and I are celebrating winter and/or Christmas.

I decided to celebrate some winter fun with this card.

I started the card by stamping two of the penguins and the snowballs from the Penguins 2 Clear Polymer Stamp Set by Craft Emotions. The images and background were colored with Copic markers and enhanced with a white paint marker, a glitter pen, clear glaze pen.

The little scene was then framed with plaid patterned paper cut with the smaller of the two dies from the Scalloped Rectangles Frame Die Set by Paper Rose.

Snowflakes Background Red Rubber Cling Stamp by Darkroom Door was stamped onto the green patterned paper from the Watercolor Basics 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad by Paper Rose using sparkly white pigment ink.

Both sentiments, from the Classic Sentiments Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle, were stamped onto white cardstock using Onyx Black VersaFine Ink by Tsukineko.
