Hello friends! Ericka here from Strangely Creative, bringing you a card that’s sure to brighten your holiday season—literally! This week, I’m sharing a festive and super sparkly holiday card that’s so shimmery, it practically dances in the light.
To start, I pulled out a vibrant gel press print I had created using the Lavinia Lattice Stencil. This background already had an elegant texture, but I knew it needed a little holiday magic.
I used my trusty stamping tool and the Visible Image Snowflake Grunge stamp, heat embossing it several times with WOW! Diamond Splash Embossing Powder. The result? Snowflakes that shimmer like freshly fallen snow under twinkling lights.
For the sentiment, I reached for a sparkle embossing powder to give it that final festive touch. It tied in perfectly with the snowflakes and added another layer of dimension and brilliance.
To complete my card, I handcrafted a simple yet elegant frame to draw attention to the sparkly goodness. The frame added a polished, finished look, perfect for a holiday greeting that’s ready to dazzle.
This card is a reminder that you can never have too much sparkle during the holidays! Whether it’s the subtle shimmer of embossing powder or the bold texture of a gel press print, layering sparkle can create a show-stopping design.
