Hi, Connie here with Art Journal pages using great products
from the Topflight Stamps store. I started with PaperArtsy and
Hobby Art and several stencils.
The background was created using coordinating
Distress Oxide inks along with stencils. The small Butterflies
were added using Versafine/Onyx Black.
Tip: When you are stamping, in a art journal type book, slip
something flat, under the area you will be stamping on.

The flat surface will help to get a clean impression. I used a small book
under the pages on the left side of the journal

The large butterfly (focal image), from the PaperAtsy set by Sara Naumann,
was stamped on a mixed media background, created with an Infusion color.
More stamping in random areas was done using
the Hobby Art set (script stamp). The butterflies were cut out and
placed in the area of the script image. More stencils!! Tip: Outline
random stamped images with a white gel pen ~ great look!
One reason I love to Art Journal (mixed media type projects) is
you can't mess it up, as hard as you try. Add more color, stencils, stamps
and put a favorite quote on the page and it will come out
fabulous!!!
