Vampire MemoryDex Page

Hi there. It's Kathi here today to share a project with you. This week's theme is Halloween, which makes me unreasonably happy as I love, Love, LOVE Halloween! I've created another card for my MemoryDex Halloween mini-album with AALL and Create's Spring Sprouts Die Set 49, the Weird Science Clear Stamp Set 957 by Janet Klein, and the Pumpkin Party Clear Stamp Set 1055 by Autour de Mwa.

Here it is!

Here's a close-up!

Both the vampire and the pumpkin vine were fussy-cut. I trimmed off what wouldn't fit on the MemoryDex card.

The images were colored with Copic markers and edged with a black multi-liner. White gel pen was used to add highlights to the vampire's eyes.

The vampire and the pumpkin vine were set aside while I worked on the background MemoryDex card.

Bristol paper was die-cut four times with the main MemoryDex die from the Spring Sprouts Die Set 49 by AALL and Create.

Medieval Blue VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko was sponged over one of the cards and heat set. The card was spatterered with white ink/paint stuff to add stars to the night sky background.

A hill edger and two other edger dies were used to trim the other cards. The three cards were sponged with Grass Green (new!!!) VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko to create a grass. The top of each of the trimmed die-cuts was edged with Oasis Green VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko, which was also used to add shadows and detail to the layered grass.   Oasis Green VersaFine Clair Ink is slightly darker than Grass Green VersaFine Clair Ink.

The grassy-green trimmed die-cuts were layered onto the bottom of the MemoryDex card. The vampire and the pumpkin vine were adhered as shown.

White cardstock was die-cut with a circle die. Black cardstock was cut with a bats die. The circle was adhered to the upper left of the MemoryDex card as a moon. The bats were adhered to the sky area of the scene.

Nocturne VersaFine Clair Inks by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko was used to edge the MemoryDex card.
