Hello, Lisa Hoel here. This week our Topflight Stamps theme is Paint which is a go to supply to have in your stash! Topflight Stamps carries a variety of paint for your creative enjoyment. Lavinia and PaperArtsy make some of my favorite acrylic paints (you can stamp on them so easily) and I've used both in my mixed media card below:
The background is a collage of aluminum metal pieces stuck onto cardstock and then painted over with
Thistle Mist paint. (TIP: wipe down the metal tape with rubbing alcohol before painting to remove any residue.) Once it was dry, I lightly sanded it to remove some of the paint and reveal the metal. Cool! More paint through a stencil and stamping with permanent ink added more visual texture.
Over the background I added a tag cut from cardstock and a Gel Press print. More die cut bits and a focal image (PaperArtsy
LPM13) finished it off!
