Your Dog....

Friday is here and I am back again... Annette Allen here with you on this fine Friday to share this card I created using: IndigoBlu: Duke's Gang rubber stamp set. How about these fun little pups. I just love dog stamps and this set is fun of fun shaped dogs. Plus I love the sentiment.

I colored the images with Copic sketch markers and the background is Ranger oxide inks.

This card is totally simple to create. I just stamped, colored, cut and used some foam adhesives to give them some dimension. You can create any background with this fun stamp set. So wild or keep it simple like I did.

Thanks for stopping by.

Embrace Yourself

Hello Topflight readers, Ericka here today with a quick card.
But first, I hope you are all doing well and have had a chance to participate in the Topflight 2nd Anniversary Blog Hop for a chance to win some great prizes not to mention all the beautiful inspiration from a wonderful group of crafters.

For today's card, I'm using a background I made with Pearl Alcohol Inks on Yupo and a Katzelkraft Ostrich.

After letting the background dry, I stamped the ostrich in and sentiment from Visible Image in Archival Ink and let it dry on the Yupo paper. I love the detail on this ostrich and these sentiments are so fun to play with!

You can find the stamps at the store by clicking on the image.

After the ink was dry, I added a couple of sequins to complete the card. For more information on how I made my card, feel free to stop by Strangely Creative.

White Crayon

To create this effect just thoroughly color any areas of your image that you want to remain white with the white crayon. Then blend Distress Inks on top of the card. It's a quick, easy and fun technique that I think you might want to try. The crayons and stamps are available now!

For the Love of Stamps | Simple Background Stamping

Hi everyone!  It's Jenny here and I have a fun card for you today which uses simple stamping to create a fun and monochromatic background with a tiny pop of dimension.

My card was created using the For the Love of Stamps Tattoo Art stamp set. You can  do tonnes of funky designs with this using masking, but for this card I kept it simple.

I took a panel of white cardstock and stamped the large heart at random over the entire panel in red dye ink. I then stamped the largest star in black ink, filling in some of the gaps.   I used smaller and smaller images from the set, choosing different shades of grey and red until there was no space let on the panel.

I stamped the banner in black on a separate piece of cardstock and then used the Love You sentiment from the set to fill it in. I love how the tiny sentiments fit inside this banner!  I trimmed it out and then popped it up on foam tape at an angle over one of the hearts (I purposely didn't put it onto the centre of the card).

I mounted the panel on a white card base and then for a little sparkle, I used Nuvo Glitter Drops in clear and red to fill in some of the small hearts at random.   It was fun to play with this set and it is SO versatile - masculine and feminine cards and so many possibilities!

Happy Little Unicorn....

Happy Friday.. Annette Allen here with you today to share this fun Jane Davenport card I created using her amazing die set Happy Little Unicorn and Sunflower Journal. I love these adorable dies really there are so many different ways to use them but today I am using them in this card.

I did not use a sentiment today but it will make for a fun note card.

I created the background using Oxide inks. I also used Oxide inks on a few separate pieces of card-stock so that I could die cut these sweet images. I wanted there to be lots of bright colors. I do not follow any rules when it comes to color. I just go wild.

Totally simple card to create....

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a wonderful weekend

Embossing on Black Cardstock

Hello Topflight fans, it's Ericka here and today I'm playing with some black cardstock, PaperArtsy stamps and embossing powders from Emerald Creek.

I played with this set from PaperArtsy and love all the different sized medallions and designs.

I started out by stamping and embossing each medallion separately with a variety of Emerald Creek Embossing Powders. These powders are so fun to play with and you can also layer the different colors together.

The top medallion was embossed with Patina Oxide, which is an awesome mixture of copper and teal.

For the bottom left medallion, I used Midnight Magic and added Kiss the Fairy on top to give it a pinkish tint. Aren't these colors fun? On the corners I used Deep Sea for a lighter blue.

I love the look they have on the black cardstock and add a kind of dreamy feel which is how I also picked this sentiment from Visible Image.

Thanks for stopping by and feel free to stop by Strangely Creative for a more detailed look on how I created this card.

Night Wings

Hello, Everyone!  Toni again with you this fine Wednesday with a whimsical spring fairy card.

Let's start with the background, shall we?  I started by sponging Distress Oxides and Inks on the card base.  I then used a combination of the bubbles from PaperArtsy Eclectica Tracy Scott 24 stamped in DOs, the dandelion from That's Crafty ATC Coins Set 6 stamped in Versafine Onyx Black, and the Visible Image Meshing Around stencil sponged with DOs. I used a wheat and rain stencil as well sponged in DOs. I spattered the lot with water, DOs and Copic Opaque White.  Whew!

Next I tackled the PaperArtsy Eclectica Tracy Scott 24 flowers. I stamped them on a page from a dictionary (note I used the bloom and blossom entries) then sponged them with DO Mustard Seed. I adhered them to the card front with Ranger Multi Medium Matte.

Next I stamped the Fairy Queen, Lavinia Twilight, and one of her subjects from Lavinia Three Dancing Fairies before stamping the PaperArtsy Alison Bomber Wings and Flight 11 sentiment.

Lavinia Three Dancing Fairies

I imagine this scene to be taking place near sunset when the fairy folk are just starting to come out, perhaps coaxed by the Fairy Queen.  Dreamy!

Feel free to stop by my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, for a full list of ingredients and to see my other creations.  Fly free until next time!

Spring Card with PaperArtsy's Tracy Scott

Good morning, Lisa Hoel here with a card to share with you today. Spring is definitely in the air around here (I saw a butterfly today!) and this card makes me want to go out and garden.

I used Distress Oxide Sprays for the background and PaperArtsy products for the stamping and stenciling. You can see more info on my blog post.
