Scared for Halloween?

Greetings! It's Tuesday, which means that it's Kathi here with a project to share with you! I'm firmly in Halloween mode and have created a scary card with the Humanoids (KT2223) Unmounted Rubber Stamp Set by Katzelkraft, the FP001 Cling Rubber Stamp Set by France Papillon for PaperArtsy, the Halftone Skull and Redemption  stencils by Andy Skinner for Creative Expressions

Here's my card!

I started the card by brushing Squeezed Lemonade, Fossilized Amber, Picked Raspberry, Blue Print Sketch, and Chipped Sapphire Distress inks onto mixed media cardstock using the fabulous new Blending Brushes by Time For Tea then heat setting to dry the ink.

Grey and black ink were brushed over New York City Skyline and heat set again. White hybrid ink was sponged over the Halftone Skull Stencil then the panel was heat set again. I'm into heat setting. The word "Scared?", from the was Redemption Stencil , was positioned on the skull's forehead, Post-It Notes were used to mask the other words, then white ink was brushed over the stencil onto the image panel.

Two of the stamps from the Humanoids (KT2223) Unmounted Rubber Stamp Set were stamped onto white Copic-friendly cardstock.  The hazard sign and the caution tape stamps from the FP001 Cling Rubber Stamp Set by France Papillon were stamped as well. All images were colored with Copic markers, fussy-cut, then edged with a black marker.

A spider rub-on was added to the center of the hazard sign to reinforce the creep factor of the card. The image panel was trimmed, then edged with Black Soot Distress ink. Washi tape was added to the base of the card, then the image panel was matted onto yellow cardstock, then onto a 6" square black card. The stamped and fussy-cut images were adhered as shown to finish the card.
