Design Team Reveal Day 4

Welcome to the Topflight Stamps Blog! Today we are announcing our next super talented design team member Karen Bearse. Here is more about Karen in her own words.

"I have been a lifelong crafter that finally settled on the paper arts. As a technique junkie I love anything inky, painterly & messy. I rarely meet a product I don’t like. My style is eclectic, bold & quite often depends on my mood but let’s go with grungy bohemian usually with a side of metallic. Favorites are art journal, mix media, tags, & canvas but I really love making books. I teach in multiple local stores in Virginia & Maryland, expanding into some other states. I am married with 3 kids and an aloof yet occasionally affectionate Siamese cat."

Karen Bearse here today with my first post, I am very excited to be apart of this team as I love, love stamps!!! I decided to start my weekly posts with a Passport Book that I can add mini art journal pages to. 

The cover showcases one of my favorite stamps by Darkroom Door from the Hummingbirds set. I also used some of their Grunge Marks stamps as well as Katzelkraft Background Clouds & Fireworks set. 

This book has elastics to hold my signatures in. This makes it easy to take the pages out to design on them. I did a full tutorial on my blog with step-by-step instructions.
