Believe......

Welcome to the Topflights Stamp blog.   Steph here again showcasing  wonderful stamps from Studio Light and Rubber Dance.

I used the Studio Light Butterflies stamp set, stamping the smaller butterfly twice.  I colored each and die cut one into a circle.  The other was fussy cut and placed atop the other adhering just the body so the wings were free.

I wanted to focus on the colors in the butterfly, so I added a simple pattern paper background and added the die cut butterflies on top.  Finally, I used the Affirmations Sentiment stamp set from Rubber Dance.  I love the size of the phrase and it was the perfect phrase for this card.

Thanks for stopping by and please pop by my blog for more crafty inspiration.

See you next Tuesday.

Dancing in the Rain

Good day to you all,  It's Clare here with you today and I've been playing around with the Distress Oxides again along with this gorgeous stamp set from Carabelle Studios.

I did some simple background stamping using one of the sentiments and the raindrops before stamping the main images onto the tag in black ink.

I added glossy accents to the raindrops & cloud for some dimension.

Our Dancing in the Rain  set at Topflight has the sentiment in English, the set I have used has the sentiment in French.

I love to add sequins to a grungy project just to add a little bit of sparkle.

Thank you for stopping by today, we always love to hear your comments.  Remember the blog is updated daily, remember to stop by everyday to see what the rest of the team have been creating.

Happy Crafting,

Clare

Seth Apter Stars - with Shilpa Nagaonkar

Welcome to the Topflight blog today.

Today sees the return of our guest designer for August, Shilpa Nagaonkar.  Shilpa has created this beautiful, mixed media tag using our Paperartsy stamps and wood chips, designed by Seth Apter.

Shilpa shared with us how she made her wonderful creation.

  • In the background, I've used crackle paste, stencil, modelling paste and spray colours in yellows and browns.
  • Focal star is a Wood Chips. I stamped Star image from Paperartsy Seth Apter stamp - ESA03
  • I've also added art stones and thread for interest.

Thanks a bunch doodled card

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my weekly Topflight Stamp shop post.
This week the design team was challenged to work with a doodling range of stamps from Leane Creatief range originated in Netherlands.
This is my very first time to doodle anything, so it took me quite awhile to get the proper doodling pen.
And after a few tries the pen of choice is Pigma Micron 0.1 black pen.

Here is the stamp I used to make this card: Flower Pot

Leane Creatief Doodle Clear Stamp - Flower Pot

The sentiment I used is from For the Love of Stamps Barrow of Blooms set.
For the Love of Stamps - Barrow of Blooms - Clear Stamp Set

I made the stamped background with the same stamps using white pigmented ink and white embossing powder over Kraft cardstock and then colored the images with distress markers.
The main image was stamped over white cardstock with black ink and heat embossing and then colored with the same distress markers inside.

Then I doodled over each piece of the stamped image and tried to make each petal different.

I hope that you liked my doodling and this stamp.
If you wish to see more of my work you are mostly welcome to my own blog.
See you next week with the different inspiration.

Leane Creatief Butterfly Doodle Tag

Hi Stamp Lovers! Karen Bearse here today with a fun butterfly doodle tag. I am not a big doodle person but I love the concept & it is one of the areas I want to work on.

This beautiful butterfly stamp was what I got to play with. I really followed the example on the stamp package & love the results I got. It was nice & easy but makes for a wonderful focal point on the tag.

You can hop on over to my blog for more instructions on the products I used to get the super vibrant color on my butterfly. Thanks for stopping bye on the Topflight Blog today! See you next week.

Doodling Trees

Welcome to the Topflights Stamp blog.   Steph here again showcasing another wonderful stamp set from the store and this set comes from the Netherlands.

This week is all about doodling and I've use a fun stamp from Leane Creatief.   The doodling stamps I'm using is Trees.

I began by stamping one tree.  Then I used a masking technique to stamp a second tree.

Next, I used a water brush to color the trees in assorted colors of green ink.

One the ink dried, I used a green marker to add doodles on the tree.  Because the tree was divided into sections, it was easy to create different doodles.

I also added color to the tree trunks with brown ink.

I die cut the individual tree and added it to a card with a simple Hi.

Then I fussy cut the 2 trees adding it to a panel of green and black before adding to the card.  Thanks was die cut and added to the card.

See you next Tuesday.

Watch them bloom!

Hello all!  Clare here with you today at Topflight Stamps and I have been doing some simple Gelli printing.  I love experimenting and pulling prints from my printing plate.  for this project I chose to use some die cut circles and some beautiful colours from Paperartsy to do all the work.  I used Prawn, Butternut & Tangerine Twist from Tracy Scott's colours along with Carribean Sea.

The main Image on the card is from Carabelle Studios and the set is called 'Plant Loving Thoughts' , by Birget Koopsen, available at Topflight's online store.

Using Posca pens I added some splatters to the card along with some sequins for a subtle bling.

Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you enjoyed your visit?  Remember there is something new on the blog everyday from our amazing creative team, subscribe and visit daily to see what they have been up to.

Creative Expression HAPPY Stamp & Die Two Ways

Welcome to the Topflight Stamps Blog!

Today, I'm sharing two cards I made exactly the same way, I just used two totally different color schemes. The first is a more Summery color palette and the second on is more of a Fall/Winter color story. They are each made with the Sue Wilson HAPPY stamp and Happy Die set from Creative Expressions. These are so versatile and you can create so many sentiments with the die set. I colored them with Copic Markers.

Welcome to the Topflight Stamps blog.

Today we have a special Guest Designer - Shilpa Nagaonkar. Shilpa has created a gorgeous mixed media canvas using our PaperArtsy Seth Apter stamps and wood chips.

Shilpa explains how she created this beautiful canvas.

1. To make the textured background I used modeling paste, stencils, spray inks and acrylic paints.
2. The focal point is a PaperArtsy Seth Apter stamp - ESA03
3. I stamped the images using black archival ink on PaperArtsy Seth Apter Wood Chips which match the stamp set. Then, I adhered them on the main surface.

Jazz it up CAS Mixed Media card

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my mid August inspiration made for Topflight Stamps shop.
This is a week to show some of my personal style and as I have a lot of styles I picked a Clean and Simple for this showcase.
But even with  CAS style this card has some Mixed Media add-ons such as using a stencil with clear modelling paste around the heat embossed stamped image.

The stamps I used are from Visible Image UK company and I just adore their Mixed Media style of images.
This is a stamp set I used - Jazz it up set

Visible Image - Jazz It Up - Clear Polymer Stamp Set

My background was made with Tando stencil and new Ranger Distress Oxide inks.
The stamping was made with Memento Luxe ink and heat embossed with clear powder.

Thanks for reading my weekly post.

Shine Bright with IndigoBlu

Hi Inky Friends, welcome to the Topflight Stamps Blog. Karen Bearse here today with a stamped up journal page from My Favorite Memories Journal.

My son was Harry for Halloween, oh my gosh, 14 years ago. The sneaky way I turned this page into a Halloween theme was to alter the photo. There is no Halloween paper or ephemera on it yet it is still full of spooky fun.

I used the Shine Bright set from IndigoBlu which I just love! The background stamps are great with subtle detail & don't you just love light bulbs!!!

Another way to use this quote is on a journal card for your art journal, pocket pages or project life. Just the different background gives the quote a whole new look. For more info & close ups of this layout feel free to visit me here. Thanks for joining me today!
