Seasons Greetings with Crafty Individuals

   Hi Everyone,

Cornelia here today. This week we are featuring Crafty Individuals at the Topflight blog. They have delightful stamps and by now I have a small collection of them and I treasure them all!
I first stamped the houses. I colored them with water colors. I punched out a circle from a post it note for my moon. Put it in position. Water colored the background. I stamped the dog onto scrap paper and cut him out. Added lots of white splatters and drew some "snow" onto the roofs. Added the dog with foam tape. I heat embossed the sentiment and added it with foam tape.

I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.
See you next week with more Topflight Stamps inspiration.

Meow! Merry Christmas from the Cat!

Greetings! It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. This week my teammates and I are showcasing stamps and products by Crafty Individuals. Since I'm a crazy cat lady and holiday season, I opted to use the Bob the Cat Unmounted Rubber Stamp #612 by Crafty Individuals as my focal image.

Here's my card!

Black Copic-friendly ink was used to stamp Bob the Cat onto white cardstock and onto label paper, which was fussy-cut to be used as a mask.

The image was colored with Copic markers, then masked.

Grey hybrid ink was used to stamp the Reverse Stars Clear Stamp Set #484 by AALL and Create to create a background in all of that white space around the image.

Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Tsukineko was used to stamp the word "Meow" from the Caturday Clear Stamp Set #477 by Janet Klein for AALL and Create to the left of the image.

Black Copic friendly ink was used to stamp the fish gift from Purrfect Day Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle below "Meow". The gift was colored with Copic markers and a red pen was used to hang the fish gift from the "O" in "Meow".

A black pen was used to edge the image panel, which was matted with black patterned paper from the Brights Essentials Patterned Paper Pad by Studio Light. This pad is 5.8" x 8.3" and is double-sided with pattern on one side and the matching solid color on the reverse.

The pom-pom on the cat was filled with a glue pen. White Fun Flock was sprinkled onto the pom-pom and allowed to air dry.

Red patterned paper from the same pad was trimmed to 4.75" x 6.75" to be used as the background panel.

"Merry Christmas" from Heffy Doodle 's Classic Sentiment Clear Stamp Set and "From the cat" from the Purrfect Day Clear Stamp Set were stamped with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink onto the solid side of the red patterned paper, die-cut, and edged with a black pen.

A strip of black polka dot patterned paper was cut from the remaining piece of paper, trimmed to 4.75", threaded through the die-cut, and adhered to the background panel. Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink was used to edge the background panel and heat set.

The excess Fun Flock was tapped off of the pom-pom. The image panel was adhered to the background panel, which was adhered to a white 5" x 7" card. Black and green gemstones were added to finish the card.

Crafty Individuals Watercolor Birthday Card

Welcome to the first full week of December! This is Rachel from rwkrafts.com and I have a card today that takes a bit of a break from the holiday themes going on. If your family is anything like mine, you have a TON of September birthdays and then a TON of December birthdays... time to restock the birthday cards!

I grabbed this Crafty Individuals stamp called P is for Passion from the Topflight Stamps store on a whim, and I have to say... I'm so glad I did. This card came together quickly and I will definitely be making multiples!

I ended up stamping the same stamp on two different mixed-media paper panels, using Versafine Onyx Black ink. With one panel, I simple inked the whole thing with light blue ink to give a slight color to the background. I also watercolored the little hearts in light pink and then splattered the panel with Lavinia Bumble Bee mica spray.

On the second panel, I only watercolored the flower portion and then fussy cut it. I adhered the fussy-cut flower to the base panel with foam tape, then added the foiled sentiment strip.

Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!

PaperArtsy Birds and Snowflakes Zinski Christmas Cards

Hi friends!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share some Christmas card inspiration.  I had such a blast making these Christmas cards.  First, I used one of my favorite Zinski stamp sets by PaperArtsy, ZA35.  This is the third year I've used them to make cards, so I'm thinking this will become a tradition.  Last year I made the card below, posted HERE.

The previous year I made the shaker cards below posted HERE.  I also used JOFY01 and Jofy Mini Stamp 20 (JM20) and 30 (JM30).

This year I decided to pair these fun little Zinis with my favorite snowflakes by Tracy Scott (TS063).  I chose to do some multicolor stamping with Distress Oxides and water misting.

I had so much fun with these cards, but had the new France Papillion bird stamps (FP030) sitting on my table and decided they needed some ink time too!  I used a sentiment and dot stamps by Sara Naumann (ESN29) to finish it off.  The background was a gel print made with PaperArtsy stencil PS309 by Jofy.

Christmas Card with Lavinia Mysticals Sprays

Hello Crafty friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here and I hope your December is starting off well. I am still busy making Christmas cards and thought that I would share this shiny grungy Christmas card using Lavinia Mystical Mists and the Darkroom Door Snowflakes and Christmas Sentiment Strip.

I first sprayed the Lavinia Mysticals in Golden Temple and then added a layer of the Kingfisher spray. These have beautiful mica sparkle in the sprays. Once my background dried, I lightly sprayed my background again.

After my second layer of spray dried, I used the Lavinia Acrylic Spray in Midnight Blue. When this was dry, I used the Darkroom Door Snowflakes and heat embossed it with the WOW! Clear Embossing for a pretty shimmer. I added a layer of white ink on the top of my snowflakes to highlight them on my busy background.

I added some blue ink blending around the edge and then stamped the Darkroom Door Merry Christmas strip and cut them into strips.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Christmas Tags with Visible Image and Katzelkraft

 Hi Everyone,

Cornelia here today. This week it's anything goes at the Topflight blog. I decided to make some more tags. They are really quick and easy to make.

I die cut the tags first and then brushed the background in two different colors (used distress inks). Stamped the numbered border with black Versafine ink and added the decorative stamps in the same color as the background. Added some gems to two of the tags and the little Holly branch to the third.
I heat embossed the sentiment and added it with foam tape. Added a glitzy string from my stash.

I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.
See you next week with more Topflight Stamps inspiration.
