Happy Halloween from Topflight Stamps!

Happy Halloween! Lisa Hoel here! It has been awhile since I've posted here on the blog. I've been busy behind the scenes, but today I wanted to share a fun little shaker card made Topflight Stamps style! I posted it off to my nephews earlier this week and I hope it gets there in time. My crafting time keeps getting squeezed and I couldn't get it done sooner. (bother!)

Lisa Hoel for Topflight Stamps - Halloween shaker card

I loved the fun papers in the Polkadoodles Halloween paper pad and picked out two contrasting ones to use for the card base and the shaker top. The plastic is scrap from some packaging (it pays to save it!) and I stamped on it with the Fairy Web stamp and archival ink. The shaker bits are from my extensive craft stash. I couldn't resist the super cute cat die set from Swirlcards and I think it adds the perfect focal point to the card. Some Hunkydory Diamond Sparkles add a finishing touch of bling.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you can have a safe Halloween celebration and have a chance to get crafty too this weekend. As always, check back here on the blog each day for new inspiration from our team. They always have awesome makes to share with you.

Katzelkraft Thank You Hippo

Happy Friday! Ericka here with a fun Katzelkraft Thank You card using the Jungle Animals and Torn Paper stamps.

I love the expressions on these animals and thought it would be fun to have the hippo look like it torn the paper open.

I also added the sentiment from the Katzelkraft Holiday Quotes and embossed it in WOW! Trio Cosmic by Seth Apter

Poppy Pods Thank You

  Hi Everyone,

Cornelia here today!
Our theme this week is "Thank You", as thanksgiving is nearing. and there is always so much we can be thankful for.

I used the pretty Lavinia poppies  and stamped them repeatedly onto water color paper. Smooshed with distress oxide inks and added a bit of color to the poppy pods. I cut this panel in half and made those two cards. The sentiment is heat embossed. Both of them are from the same sentiment strip.

I hope you liked this! See you next week with more Topflight Stamps inspiration.

Super Friend

Hi, everyone.  This week on Topflight Stamps, we're showcasing thank you cards. You can never have too many of those.

I'm using the Paper Rose Super Hero Fun  set with the critter bursting out of the page.

The Katzelkraft Torn Paper image was perfect to create that illusion.

I stamped that then fussy cut out the interior. I used lots of gray Copics to create shadow and depth for those curls of newsprint. I also applied a bit of Copic Opaque White to the curls to make them brighter.

I'll be back with you next week. Until then, why don't you check out the new products that have come into the TFS shop!  You can shop your heart out using this 12% off coupon

I Appreciate You!

Greetings! It's Tuesday, which means that it's Kathi here with a project to share with you! This week my teammates and I are creating Thank You cards, but somehow I can't quite let go of Halloween season yet. My solution? My focal panel features AALL and Create's fabulous Moody Kittens Clear Set (#171), which features costumed and/or adventurous cats and sentiments, including a thank you!

Here's my card with a background created with Paper Artsy's Yellow Submarine, Autumn Fire, Sage, and Guacamole Fresco Chalk Paints and the  Grid Background Red Rubber Cling Stamp by Darkroom Door.

I started the card by putting a small drop of Autumn Fire Fresco Chalk paint onto my craft mat. My 2" Speedball Brayer was used to spread the paint, which was then randomly brayered to a piece of mixed media cardstock until that drop of paint was gone!

This process was repeated with each color of paint until the cardstock was colored. There were some blobby bits of dried paint, so I sanded those off using a sanding block

Here's a photo of the brayered cardstock.

The brayered cardstock was cut in half then stamped with the Grid Background Red Rubber Cling Stamp using grey Archival ink. The stamped panel was trimmed to 4" x 5.25", the edges were distressed, then set aside.

The grumpy-looking clown cat from the Moody Kittens Clear Set was stamped onto white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. The image panel was die-cut.

The sentiment was stamped onto a piece of the painted cardstock using Onyx Black VersaFine ink, which was heat set. The sentiment was cut with a tiny rectangle die and adhered to an ornamental grey cardstock die-cut.

The image panel and sentiment die-cut were adhered to the reserved image panel, which was then adhered to a grey A2 card. Red gemstones from the Diamond Sparkles Gemstones Festive Selection were added to the top left card and to the sentiment die-cut to finish the card.

Making A Thank You Card

Hello Card Making Fans, Karen Bearse here to start the week off with a Thank You card. I used lots of Darkroom Door stamps on this one. It is so easy to use their stamps to switch up the theme. You can check all that out, along with the tutorial on my blog!

Let's look at the products used to make this Mixed Media Monday card.

Start with a Word Block or background stamp, there are many to choose from!

Ink it up with Prism inks & stamp with a spritz of water.

Add in a Frame.

Make the frame pop with some embossing powder, like this Spanish Poppy color.

Then let's add a focal image using part of a Filmstrip stamp. These cards are so easy to switch up just using other Darkroom Door images! There are also so fun to make!! Thanks for joining me here this week & I hope you get the chance to get inky!!

Katzelkraft Chunky Animals

Happy Friday! I hope you had a great week. Ericka here with a quick card using the Katzelkraft Chunky Animals.

I love this fun and unique animal set that you can use for any type of card.

I paired it with the Best Version of You sentiment for a fun an unique card.

Also, when purchasing your Katzelkraft stamps, don't forget that you also need to use mounting foam in order to stamp with them.

Carabelle Studio Stamps - Pere Noel

Hi Everyone,

Cornelia here today!
This week it's anything goes, but since I never have enough Christmas cards, I went with that.

This cute Santa from Carabelle Studio Stamps is so large, it fills an entire A2 card, so not much else is needed here.

I colored him with watercolors and markers and added the heat embossed sentiment on a piece of foam tape - see for supplies below.

I hope you liked this! See you next week with more Topflight Stamps inspiration.
