Thanks with Crafty Individuals

Welcome to the Topflights Stamp blog.  Steph Ackerman here again showcasing stamps from Crafty Individuals - Inky Borders, a company from England.  Looking at this stamp you can easily stamp it as one image as I have done, or stamp the strips individually.

I created a background for the image with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists.

Then I stamped the Inky Borders stamp in black ink directly on the background.

The panel was matted with orange cardstock, placed on 2 layers and added to the card.

A flourish was die cut from green cardstock and lightly inked and adhered to a strip of corrugated cardstock.  This was placed aceross the card and Thanks was added on top.

Thanks for stopping by and please pop by my blog for more crafty inspiration.

Postcards from Crafty Individuals

Welcome to the Topflight Stamps Blog.  Its Clare with you today and I'm sharing with you a postcard from Crafty Individuals.

The stamp that I have used is called Floral Postcard, I have stamped it onto a Distress Oxide background and bleached out the flower so that it highlights the beautiful bloom.

Using soft gel I added some seed beads and micro beads around the edges. Once dry, I dry brushed some white paint, dried again and went over with some mica powders.

I added some larger dimensional blooms to my project to finish off.

Thank you for stopping by today, remember there will be more inspiration tomorrow.

Happy Crafting,

Clare.

Spooky Time!

Welcome to the Topflight Stamps Blog.  It's Clare with you today just to share with you a spooky skeleton card I made using Katzelcrafts Steampunk Skeleton stamp.

The Background was made using Distress Oxides.

I masked off the skeleton and stamped around him.  I wanted him to look white so I painted a weak solution of bleach and water over the skull.

This card was for my son's friend's birthday so I consider this a versatile stamp, you could even change up the background colours and use as a female card.

Thank you for stopping by today, remember there is something happening on the blog every weekday so pop back for some more inspiration.

Crafty hugs,

Clare.

Beautiful day card tutorial

Welcome to the Topflight Stamps Blog!

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my last October Topflight blog post.

This is a kind of " make whatever you want" week and I decided to make a card and even to add some step by step written tutorial, but without step by step photos.

So here is a card I made with this gorgeous IndigoBlu stamp set Floral Fantasy. As you can see the main image was stamped 3 times on the same size of white cardstock die cut front and then die cut again and again to arrange this three layers card.

So here is the step by step tutorial and I hope that it's pretty easy to understand and to make the similar card.
Here is my step by step tutorial:

1. Use Misti (must do thing when doing layered and die cut technique).
Arrange IndigoBlu  flower stamp and stamp over the die cut card front three times with black pigmented ink (Memento Luxe).
2. Heat emboss all three stamped pieces with clear embossing powder (WOW! Embossing Powders).
3. Use Stitched Rectangles Elizabeth's Crafts die set and die cut each stamped front .I used every second size of the dies (#3-5-7) to die cut the stamped images. Now you have a frame and the stamped image die cut piece for each frame.
4. Glue the stamped die cuts as shown: use the third negative- the smallest die and the largest frame as your base and then arrange all three die cut shapes over this frame.
5. Color the images in all three layers with Zig Real Brush colors as shown.
6. Mist the background with Lindy's Stamp Gang mist . Stamp the sentiment over the separate cardstock piece, mist and hand cut it and glue as shown. I used the sentiment from For the Love of Stamps Barrow in Bloom set.
7. Add some rhinestones.

And this is the stamp set used to make this card:

I really hope that you like my small card tutorial and remember that this can be done with any other big stamp you can find in Topflight shop. See you next week with another Topflight shop inspiration!

Love and Friendship

Welcome to the Topflights Stamp blog.  Steph Ackerman here again showcasing stamps from Rubber Dance, a company from Norway with some lovely stamps.

I've been sewing since I was a child and this Sew Sweet stamp set is so much fun.  I began by creating a card from pink cardstock and tying Whisker Graphics twine around the card.

Then I stamped the pattern randomly about white cardstock.

Next, I inked the panel with varying shades of brown inks to give the panel a vintage look.  For a more vintage appeal, I frayed the edges and matted the panel with brown cardstock.

I stamped the ruler and place it across a large oval and then fussy cut the dress makers dummy, placing it on top with foam adhesives.  The phrase was then added.

See you next Tuesday

Infusions

Welcome to the Topflight Stamps Blog.  Its Clare with you today and I have been playing along with these lovely explosions of colour called 'Infusions'.  Yes, we now have them in our online store for you to order!

Here I have used a mixture of Emerald Isle & The Sage.  I have sprinkled the powder onto the card, spritzed with water and with a bit of help from my Tim Holtz distress marker spritzer I've blown the inky colours upwards to form a grassy like area.

Using stamps from Visible Image 'Live in the moment', I positioned the dragonflies on the inky circle, and on the background mount.

For this card I laid down a raindrop stencil and sprinkled A Bit Jaded, spritzed with water and set aside.  On a separate piece of card, prepared with the same colour I stamped the flower from Paperartsy/Tracy Scott https://topflightstamps.com/collections/paperartsy/products/paperartsy-tracy-scott-111-preorder-rubber-cling-mounted-stamp-set,  cut out the flower to adhere to my card.

I added in some texture using grunge paste and a stencil, somewhere for the flower to perch.

This one was, quick & fun.  I sprinked 'Are You Cerise' & 'A bit Jaded', spritzed and left to dry.  I stamped the flower from Visible Image https://topflightstamps.com/collections/visible-image-uk/products/visible-image-imperfection-is-beauty-clear-polymer-stamp-set and added in some white doodles.

I hope you have enjoyed my post about Infusions?  Just a reminder there is 30% off on the Fall/Halloween category up until midnight on 18th October.

Happy Crafting,

Clare.

Guest Designer - Terri Burson with Bare Forest

Welcome to the Topflight Stamps Blog.  On the Blog today we have Terri Burson Sharing her wonderful Halloween creation.

I'm happy to be back on the TopFlight Stamps blog, guest designing again today.  I'm featuring IndigoBlu's "Bare Forest 1" stamp for this spooky Halloween card, and the Anything Goes theme for the week.

This was such a fun card to create and there are so many different directions that you can take with this forest stamp.  Look closely, and you'll see that I even drew in some bats, reflected by the light of the moon.

We are so lucky to have so many wonderful international stamps now available in one shop.  They frequently sell out quickly so if you find this one out of stock, be sure and put it on your wishlist as Donna is great about getting in new designs and keeping favorites in stock.  Don't forget to check out the reward program as well.

I've got a lot more details to share and would love for you to stop by my blog, Waving My Wand, for a short tutorial.  Thanks again to Donna, for having me stop in for a visit!

Katzelkraft Tangle Butterfly Cards with Distress Oxides

Welcome to the Topflight Stamps Blog!

I'm wrapping up our week of beautiful butterflies with two cards using one of my favorite butterfly stamps from Katzelkraft - Tangle Papillon. On the first card, I created the background from Distress Oxides inks and stamped the butterfly with archival ink. The Hello sentiment is from the Creative Expressions Stylish Script stamp set. On the second card, I used Distress Oxides for the background and to stamp the butterfly. I love the size of this butterfly it really fills out the card without need much else which makes it easy to create beautiful quick cards.

Something Wonderful Mixed Media Canvas

Welcome to the Topflight Stamps Blog.

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Topflight  blog post.

Today I am going to share the 8x8'' Mixed Media canvas made with most gorgeous Katzelkraft Butterflies stamp set and I am going to show  you a few stamping techniques while working over the Mixed Media canvas project.

First I added the background texture with texture paste and stencils (Tando Creative UK) and glued a few cardstock pieces with DCWV old cardstock collection. Then the whole piece was painted with DecoArt acrylic paints.

It's almost impossible to stamp over this heavy textured canvas, so I stamped the flowers stamps from the same stamp set over the white tissue paper and glued them on the bottom of the canvas with gel medium.

Now I decided to stamp over the chipboard flowers and butterflies with the large stamps. I used black pigmented ink (Memento Luxe) and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

Then I colored the heat embossed chipboards with more acrylic paint and you can see that the butterflies are pretty much similar to the large ones on the bottom even with this partial stamping due the chipboard shapes size.

The sentiment is the most gorgeous Rubber Dance one and I hand cut it to the strips to make the "canvas look" for the sentiment.

Then two large and full size butterflies were stamped, colored and glued over the canvas.

Here are the stamps used to make this project:

I really hope that you liked my weekly inspiration post today and as you know all stamps are in the Topflight shop waiting for you! See you next week for more Topflight inspiration!
