Katzelkraft Journal Page

Hello crafty friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here and today I am playing with some Katzelkraft stamps to make a journal page. I started of by applying Lavinia Elements Ink to my page with a brayer. I used Blue Atoll, Sundance, Henna, and Dark Denim

I then used the Katzelkraft Big Script stamp with Graphite Lavinia Elements Ink. I stamped the Butterfly Metamorphosis using Versafine Clair Midnight both on the background and a separate piece of paper. This allows me to fussy cut the image without worrying about cutting the antennas. I colored one of the butterflies up using the Lavinia inks and added some gold and silver Spectrum Noir pens as well. I finished my page with a sentiment from the Dreamer Sentiments set and a couple of splatters from the Lavania Acylic Sprays in Teal and Chartreuse. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful week!

PaperArtsy Mixed Media Journal Page

Happy Friday crafty friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here playing with PaperArtsy Fresco Acrylics and stamps to make a mixed media journal page. I love the multiple ways you can use the Fresco Paints and today I used them with my gel press to make a background as well as to paint up my flowers.

I started out the Fresco Paints in Moon Light, Globe Thistle,  and Eggplant and add them to my gel press to pull up several prints. I picked this background and then stamped one of the images from PaperArtsy JOFY 94 in Versafine Clair Fantasia.

I then used one of the prints as and stamped the flowers from the same PaperArtsy set and painted them up with Toffee Apple, Bougainvillea, Bubble Gum, Pistachio, Green Patina, and Lemon Meringue.

After I painted the flowers, I then re-stamped them in my MISTI to darken the lines. I added some WOW! Embossing to my flowers for sparkle using the embossing pen and Strawberry Daiquiri, Cerulean and Lemon Sorbet powders. I fussy cut out the images to add to my page.

Before I added my images, I used some PaperArtsy Tissue Paper and added it to my background with some gel medium.

I finished my page by adding some PaperArtsy Infusions in Violet Storm and Stabilo pencil marks around my page.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a chance to play with these awesome Fresco Paints!

Paper Artsy Paints - Art Journal Spread

Welcome back everyone! I'm excited for this week, as the Topflight Stamps design team is celebrating one of my favorite products sold in the store... Paper Artsy Fresco Paints! My name is Rachel from rwkrafts.com and I'm obsessed with these paints :)

I started the page by first painting a layer of white acrylic paint. While the white paint was still slightly damp, I brushed on Fresco Paints in Cerulean and Twilight. While those paints will still wet, I used the stencil Enchanted Garden to wipe up the paint with a baby wipe.

After the page had dried, I then used the stencil Totally Dotty with Fresco Paint Slimed.

Then I added some lines of washi tape and stamped some skinny flower images from the Sublimely Scented stamp set. I stamped in Versafine Onyx Black so it would stay permanent.

Next, I grabbed a cardstock scrap and painted it with Fresco Paint Bougainvillea (my favorite pink!). Once dried, it was stamped with Darkroom Door Arty Pods, which were then fussy cut. I then glued the pieces throughout the art journal page.

Finally, I added a quote sticker and the page is complete!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a creative week ahead :)

Out of the World Art by Marlene Art Journal Page

Hello friends!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share another art journal page featuring Art by Marlene stamps and stencils by Studio Light.  My last page was shared HERE and I have others on my blog if you're interested.

I made a dark gel printed page using PaperArtsy Fresco Chalk Acrylics and my Gel Press for make my background.  I embossed some of the stars from the Out of This World Dream Girl stamp set in white, and stamped some in black randomly along the background.  I stamped the sweet mermaid moon girl onto Bristol and colored with my Prism brush markers, then fussy cut and adhered to my panel.

I used Tim Holtz alphabet dies for the wording and texture paste to stencil the Galaxy stencil, then adhered the print to my Go Dutch spiral watercolor journal, outlining with a black pen.  I hope you've enjoyed this page and are inspired to stamp today!  xx, Autumn

Art Journal Page with Lavinia Mysticals Mist

Welcome back to another creative week! This is Rachel from rwkrafts.com and this week I'm sharing the steps to an art journal page that features the gorgeous Lavinia Mysticals Mists.

First I gesso'd a page in my art journal. Once dry, I heavily sprayed the page with Lavinia mists in Bumble Bee and Fruit Sorbet.

Next, I used the AALL & Create stencil "Hung Up on Hearts" with Paper Artsy fresco paint in Twilight. I used the stencil to create the flow of the page, so only part of the stencil is painted.

Then I added some torn strips of washi tape and I used another AALL & Create stencil called Totally Dotty and only sprayed a small section with Lavinia mists in Kingifhser

Of course, I needed to add some splatters! I splattered across the page with Prism Mists in Midnight Black.

Lastly, I grouped together some Mushroom stamps by Katzelkraft and glued them to my page. I also added some small pink beads that I found in my stash.

The page actually came together super quickly. I love using the Lavinia Mists, they make it so easy!
