Sketchy Blossom...

Hi Everyone.. Annette Allen here with you again on this fine Friday. Today I am getting crafty with Magenta: Sketchy Blossom Trio Rubber cling stamp set and PaperArtsy: Infusions Magenia and Violet Storms.

I created this fun background with PaperArtsy: Infusions Magenia and Violet Storms and water. Totally simple to do just go wild with color but remember you don't need much to create these fun backgrounds. Make sure to let dry completely or use a heat gun. Next I stamped and colored this pretty Magenta: Sketchy Blossom Trio Rubber cling stamp set with Copic Sketch markers and trimmed leaving a hint of white. Adhere to card using foam adhesives to give it some dimension.

Thanks for stopping by.

Embrace Impurrfection

Hello Topflight fans! Happy almost June! Ericka here and we are almost in summer as the last day of school for the kiddos is today.

Today I have a fun card using the Magenta Rose Cat stamp with some Distress Oxide blending for the background.

This cat stamp was so pretty I decided to use some Emerald Creek Embossing Powder in Rustic Indigo to add some speckles to the cat.

I used Distress Oxides for the background with a stencil from AALL & Create and them heat embossed the car image on top.

I hope you have a great day and weekend! Feel free to stop by my blog at Strangely Creative for more details on how I created this card. Thanks for stopping by and see you next week.

Meow

Hello there, Topflight fans!  Toni here today sharing a funky kitty card featuring Magenta Sweet Olivia Cat.  She really does have such a sweet expression.

I stamped her onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper using Stazon Jet Black.  I used my MISTI to ensure I got really good coverage.  I trimmed this down into a Polaroid size and cut the MFT #Captions die along the bottom.

Next I worked up the background. I sponged Distress Oxide Salty Ocean, Wilted Violet, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, and Picked Raspberry, just however felt right.  I used these inks with a few stencils as well: That's Crafty Magda Polakow Smile 8x8 Stencil (bottom right), Visible Image Fibres (upper left and bottom), and Visible Image Time Tunnel (upper right).

That's Crafty! - Magda Polakow - Smile - 8x8 Stencil

With that base layer done, I went to town with some floral stamps.  I stamped the PaperArtsy Eclectica Tracy Scott 24 using Distress Oxide Mustard Seed or Versafine Onyx Black.

I stamped That's Crafty ATC Coins Set 6 using Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry.

I stamped the Lavinia Fern Heads using Distress Oxide Mowed Lawn.

I stamped a couple of the Visible Image Creative Chaos images using Distress Oxide Salty Ocean and Mustard Yellow.

Can you find all of the stencil and stamps on the card base?  Where's Waldo? LOL.

My final steps were to color the Magenta Sweet Olivia Cat blanket with Zig Real Brush Bright Yellow and color up a selection of the dots using Copics. How fun!

I hope you enjoyed today's card.  If you want to check out my other creations, head on over to my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, or Instagram.

Magenta Stamps – Rustic Window

Hello, Lisa Hoel here! Today I have a great all-purpose cheerful card to share with you.
It can be for a birthday or just because. ;-)

The Magenta Rustic Window stamp is such a great focal image! I stamped, watercolored, and fussy cut it out to apply over a stone wall background (more on that in a minute). I slightly bent the shutters out from the window and didn't adhere them to the background so they would flip out to add some dimension.

For the card background, I used a combination of the new Distress Oxide Spray Stains and the original Spray Stains to make the grey 'stone' background and the 'stucco' layer I diecut. Together the layers made a perfect base for the stamped window image.

Magenta | Watercolor Wash Rainbow Background

Hi Everyone! Welcome to the Topflight Stamps blog - it's Jenny here, and today I've been playing with Magenta stamps.

I'm using today the Magenta Butterfly, Mushroom, Snail stamp, which is a cute little scene.

To create my card, I first created watercolor wash background using my Tombow markers.  I saw this first by Ashlea Cornell and it is a super easy way to create gorgeous backgrounds.  You just scribble them onto watercolor cardstock and then blend with lots of water from top to bottom.    When it was dry,  I trimmed out the panel and splattered it with gold ink from a shimmer pen by Nuvo.

I stamped my Magenta stamp onto white cardstock in black ink   and then fussy cut out the grass  and the square border.   I adhered it directly onto the panel.

My sentiment is from the Studio Light Denim Saturdays Flower, which I stamped in black ink and trimmed out, popping it up on foam tape.

I popped the entire panel up on foam tape to a white card base, and then trimmed the edges.

A different way to use this stamp I think you'll agree!

Polka Dots...

Happy Friday everyone.. Annette Allen here with you today to share a card I created using PaperArtsy Tracy Scott ETS25. Totally simple card for you today.

I first cut my card base and stamped this fun background using various colored inks. I used the polka dots rubber stamp from the PaperArtsy Tracy Scott ETS25 set.

Next I stamped this fun artsy floral image and hand cut around the edges leaving a hint of white. Adhere this image using foam adhesives to give it some dimension and that is it. No sentiment today. I guess you can call this just a note card.

Thanks for stopping by.

Sunflower Power Embossing

Hello everyone and happy Thursday! Ericka here with a little something different than my usual card. Today I'm experimenting with a bunch of products to make a colorful board for my craft room.

I used the AALL & Create - #77 - Sunflower Power stencil to create a picture using alcohol ink and embossing paste and powder. I love how large this stencil is and that it was big enough to cover most of my 8x10 Ranger Alcohol Ink Hard Core Art Panel.

https://topflightstamps.com/products/aall-create-stencil-a4-77-sunflower-power

I used embossing paste with the stencil and then played around with some alcohol ink until I got a look I liked.

I then decided to play a little more and added some Ranger Emboss Dauber and Emerald Creek Embossing Powder in Kiss of the Fairy, Midnight Magic, and Patina Oxide to the project. I love the shine and texture it gave the board.

I had a couple of spare embellishments in my stash that I also added embossing powder to and attached them to the board with glue.

To finish the project I used a sentiment from Visible Image Express Yourself as well as some ribbon in my stash.

For more information on how I created my colorful board feel free to stop by my blog Strangely Creative. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Happy New Home

Hello, friends!  Toni here with you today. You know I love fairies and it occurred to me that the large Visible Image Creative Chaos flower could work as a skirt for Lavinia Tree Goddess Luna. It worked a treat!

I started by stamping the Visible Image Creative Chaos flower with Versafine Onyx Black.  I then masked it and stamped the upper body of Lavinia Tree Goddess Luna. I stamped her legs separately so I could tilt them forward so they wouldn't be so hidden.

I colored the resulting image with Zig Realbrush Markers and coated the wings with Clear Wink of Stella for a bit of fairy sparkle.

The embossed sentiment is from the Visible Image Oz Dorothy and Toto set.

I intend to give this to a coworker who just bought a new home. The housing market here in Seattle is quite competitive so I'm sure she's glad the "fun" of house hunting is done!

Feel free to check out my other creations on my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, or by following me on Instagram.  See you next week!

Spring Blooms | For the Love of Stamps

Hi everyone, and welcome to the Topflight Stamps blog!  It's Jenny here, and today I'm joining you with a pretty floral card, created with one of my favorite brands carried at Topflight - For the Love of Stamps (by Hunkydory).

The stamp set I'm using today is Spring Blooms, which is a giant set, all of the main florals will cover an A2 size card base!
Image for For the Love of Stamps - Spring Blooms Edge It A4 Stamp Set
To create my card, I first stamped the beautiful floral stamp in black waterproof ink onto Bristol Smooth cardstock trimmed to 4.25 x 5.5".  I then colored it with Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.  I used three shades of purple for the blooms, flesh and olive for the centres, and grey and blue grey for the leaves.

I added some splatters by scribbling some of the colors onto an acrylic block and adding a little water before pick it up with a brush and flicking it onto my card.  I dried it and then stamped one of the sentiments from the set in embossing ink and heat embossed in Platinum embossing powder.

Be sure to check out For the Love of Stamps at Topflight - while this one is out of stock, there are some truly gorgeous sets available some of my faves include this one with butterflies, this one which is another huge set with birth flowers, and this one with lillies, which I've used in a previous post

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Father's Day...

Happy Friday everyone... Annette Allen here with you today to share this fun Father's Day card created using Paper Roses: Dad's Toolbox stamp set

I created a stamped background for my card base. I used watercolor paper so I could add some simple color using watercolors.

Make sure to let your card dry completely before adhering to your card base. You can use a heat tool or just let it dry on its own. Lastly I stamped the sentiment on a separate piece of card-stock, trimmed and adhered using foam adhesives to give it a little dimension.

Simple card too recreate and for sure to bring a special person a big smile.
