Safari Birthday

Hello, everyone! Today I have a one layer birthday card for you featuring images from the Craft Emotions Party 2 set.

Aren't those images kooky cute?  I colored the ones on my card with Copics.  I had included the For the Love of Stamps Bee Happy sentiment during my layout.  I like that the elephant is reaching for happy as well as the balloon.

As a final touch I added sky and grass using the Polkadoodles Grass Lawn Stencil and Prism Ink Blue Lagoon, Olive Green, and Spring Meadow.

I'll be back with you next week. Until then, why don't you check out the new products that have come into the TFS shop!  You can shop your heart out using this 12% off coupon

Bee Careful

Oh, my, someone is being both brave and naughty today!  Do you think this little Aall and Create Bad Day bear will escape before the bees have at him?  LOL.

To create the background, I stamped the honeycomb from For the Love of Stamps Bee Happy using Prism Ink Canary Yellow. This stamp is nestable (?)--you know, where you can stamp it repeatedly and it interlocks.  Lots of possibilities with it.

You'll see I masked the bear's butt a tiny bit before stamping. I colored him up with Prism Markers (Heavenly Sunset: 056; Forest Walk: 026, 034, 037, 038 and 078).

I stamped the bees after the honeycomb (do they still make that cereal??) and colored them with PM 056. I brush Clear Wink of Stella on their wings after adding just a touch of blue.

I stamped the Katzelkraft Relax Sentiments last using Versafine Onyx Black.  How could I resist using such a perfect sentiment for this scene?

Celebrate a New Year Card on Mix Media Monday.

Hello Topflight Stamps Fans, Karen Bearse here with a mini art journal page that could double as a card. For the full tutorial you can see my blog here. I got a chance to play with the Prism Glimmer Mists & they are color plus shimmer bam- you seriously need these!

Here is my page/card. I like that the stamp could be an ornament or the New Years Eve Ball from Times Square- so I seriously blinged it up! Let's go over the ingredients...

Start with a fun Stamp by For the Love of Stamps- Beautiful Bauble.

Color it with Prism Ink Pads in Ocean Spray, & Blackcurrant Jam & Hero Arts Ombre- Pool to Navy.

Add a stencil by Darkroom Door- Polka Dots.

Mix in some Glimmer Spray by Prism in Apple Green & Glamour Gold.

Cook it in Glistening Glass Emboss Powder.

Top it all off with Diamond Sparkles in Glitter Gem Green Sparkles & Pearls in Purple Passion.

Lastly decorate with a quote by That's Crafty by Donna Gray. I hope you like my recipe for this fun, glitter ball for the holidays, or New Years. Have a wonderful 2020!!!

Celebrating Birthdays!

Hello! The new year is almost upon us; can you believe it? We are in a celebratory mood around here with the start of 2020 a few days away and also my husband's 50th birthday on the 4th! I made him a fun card:

I always love using Katzelkraft stamps because of their whimsical designs. I stamped and fussy cut this little robot and mounted it onto a Wobbler for some fun movement. The background is stamped with ombre ink and I embossed the sentiment so it would really pop. Hopefully he will like it!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great week! Happy New Year!!

Today is Your Day

Hope you are having a fantastic day. Ericka here with a fun and quick card using For The Love of Stamps Today is Your Day. I love using big sentiments and for this one I did some Distress Oxide blending.

Isn't this stamp fun! I heat embossed it with Emerald Creek Midnight Magic and then added some Nuvo drops for embellishments.

I also made one more quick Christmas card using a background I had sitting in my stash.

This large Merry Christmas stamp from For The Love of Stamps has fun little circles in the font that I also used some Nuvo drops for a festive look. For more information on how I created my card, stop by my blog Strangely Creative.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a very Merry Christmas. If you get a chance, don't forget to check out the sale!

Christmas Owls

Hello, Topflight fans! I have two cute holiday cards for someone. Who? You!

My first card using the Leane Creatif Popco Winter Owl in a very clean and simple card.

The images are watercolored and the For the Love of Stamps O Christmas Tree sentiment stamped in Versafine Onyx Black.

The second card took more planning. I stamped the Leane Creatif Owlie Elf and colored it up with Copics.

I then masked the Leane Creatif Owlie Elf image and stamped Magenta Holiday Text with Prism Ink Red Chili.

Doesn't that Prism Ink Red Chili pop? I added a strip of striped paper and glitter washi to finish off the card.

Have a great rest of your week and Happy Thanksgiving to those that celebrate it tomorrow!

O Christmas Trees

Hello, Topflight Fans!  Today I'm using the For the Love of Stamps O Christmas Tree set to create 3 different Christmas cards that are really quick to make, which is exactly what I need during this busy holiday card making season.

For the sparkle and shine card I sponged the card front with Distress Oxide Wilted Violet and Peacock Feathers as well as Prism Ink Wild Mushroom and the Darkroom Door Mixed Boxes Stencil.

I stamped the tree and sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black. That gold background?  I used Deco Foil spray and Deco gold foil with my laminator.

For my second card, I used some leftovers, including the plaid background (Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers) and panel stamped with Ultimate Crafts Fractal Snowflakes and white pigment ink.

I used Prism Ink Red Chili for the tree and Prism Ink Roasted Coffee for the sentiment.

My final card uses the last of the For the Love of Stamps O Christmas Tree images, stamped in Versamark and embossed with Ranger White Detail Fine Embossing Powder on a panel I had sponged with Distress Oxide Wilted Violet and Peacock Feathers.

The background uses the Ultimate Crafts Fractal Snowflakes and a variety of Distress Oxides randomly stamped on there.
