Hello! We're focusing on Mixed Media creations this week at Topflight Stamps. I made a card using paints, ink and embossing powder. On a piece of white cardstock, I painted an ombre effect with two PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Chalk Paints: Blah Mange and Sugar Plum. When it was dry, I stamped the Creative Expressions Vintage Plume stamp with Versafine Clair Nocturne (black) ink. While the ink was wet, I sprinkled on WOW! embossing powder in Platinum and hit it with a heat tool. The effect is so cool! Hopefully you can see it in the second card photo below. On a separate piece of scrap cardstock, I stamped the Woodware Viola stamp with the same Nocturne ink. Using a circle punch, I punched out two postmarks that were part of the Viola image, inked the edges, and attached to the card front. A seam binding bow tied around the painted ombre panel was topped with one other piece of stamped ephemera I had on my desk. Hope you have a terrific day! ~ Colleen

Creating a PaperArtsy Gel Press Card
Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful week and are looking forward to a great weekend. Ericka from Strangely Creative here with a card I created from an old book page, a gel press, and some fantastic PaperArtsy fresco acrylic paints and stamps.
I had previously made background using PaperArtsy Fresco Paints in Cerulean, Byzantium, and Bubble Gum. To add some texture to my background, I used the PaperArtsy JOFY PS230 stencil with Distressed Crayon in Ground Espresso. I then took the PaperArtsy Seth Apter 25 set and stamped in white and Mulberry ink.
Taking the PaperArtsy Tracy Scott PS226 stencil, I traced and colored in the leaf with a black pen. I then added the script stamp from the PaperArtsy Seth Apter 25 set in white ink to add some more interest to my background. I also highlighted the leaf with a gel pen.

PaperArtsy Mixed Media Card
Happy Friday friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here with a mixed media card using PaperArtsy and some other great supplies found at Topflight Stamps.
I started my card by using the PaperArtsy Fresco paint in Blah Mange and Mulled Wine and brayer to spread color around my background. I love the random look and the texture that comes from using a brayer with these beautiful paints. I then used the Sara Naumann PS176 stencil and applied the PaperArtsy Pea Coat paint with a sponge.
I added some texture elements using the PaperArtsy Seth Apter ESA25 with the Versafine Clair ink in Medieval Blue. I added another layer of texture using the WOW! Embossing powders in Seth Apter Tarnished Teal and Gilded. To finish my card, I then stamped the Harmony sentiment and added a bit of gel pen around random elements for highlights.
I hope I've inspired you with some different mixed media techniques you can use in your next projects. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Art Card with PaperArtsy & Seth Apter
Hello Topflight Stamp lovers, Karen Bearse here with a new post playing with Seth Apter's newest release with PaperArtsy. Seth has 3 new stamp sets as well as 4 Fresco Finish paints. Hop on over to my blog to check out tutorials for both the pocket & a link to the tag play. There are also videos for each project if you would like to play along!
This week I continued to explore the concept of Art Card/ Pocket. This time I made my pocket that will co-ordinate with a previous tag. They now have a home in my most recent junk journal. Don't they look so happy together?
Let's check out the products that were used to create these little works of heart. Seth's newest stamp set ESA24 has some wonderful images as always in etched red rubber. Just love how his sets can be used as one & done, background, focal images & words that can be used as titles. This may be my new favorite.
I also had to add the circle stamp, it is just one of my go to sets! ESA13 has some great images & funky cool words too.
Fresco Finish is a grab for anything type of paints, the matte finish is great for mixed media as it dries quickly & you can write on it with almost any type of pen without wrecking them! Also with so many colors to choose from, you can always add a few to your order.
Of course nothing says art journal like stencils. I chose a few and one of my new favorites. PS090
This one has quite a few cool images & I am a sucker for circles. PS249
Of course every mixed media piece needs embossing powder in my opinion! Since this was a Seth page his Cosmic Trio emboss by Wow was added to some of the the stamp images. Just pull out their embossing pad. For a full supply list & tutorial hit up my blog. Thanks for joining me today, I hope you pull out some of your supplies this week & get inky!!

Let's Play with Fresco Finish Paint!
Hello Topflight Stamp Fans, Karen Bearse here with Mixed Media Monday. This week the team are playing with Fresco Finish Paint. I have been feeling tagish lately so that is what I did! For a full supply list of everything including paint colors click here.
Here are the tags that I made, lots of fun product on this & there is a huge bonus!
I made a video!! It is a complete tutorial on what I did so I hope you craft along with me. Below you will find the products I used but feel free to substitute. There are so many possibilities at Topflight Stamps. Let's look at the products to create all this fun.
Fresco Finish Paint was used in multiple ways. With so many colors to choose from you can't go wrong.
This is 1 of the 3 new sets of stamps Seth Apter came out with. Love that there is a focal quote, background stamps, and lots of images that can be used. I also used ESA17 Magic, & ESA13 Journey.
A Gel Press plate was used in multiple ways. I also show you a great way to clean your Gel Press & bonus end up with an antique paper looking print.
This Roasted Coffee ink added that pop of color & is great for distressing the edges. Love the richness of this ink.
Did you know that Seth Apters Baked Velvet is translucent? This Sedona embossing powder makes the title have that epoxy look & alters the color of your stamping, creating so many new options! Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope you check out my video, click like if you do & subscribe for new content! Pull out your supplies & get inky!!
