Paper Rose Gnomies Gift Tags

Hello everyone and happy New Years Eve. Ericka from Strangely Creative here with a couple of New Years tags I made for some wine we will be gifting to friends tonight. I love these fun little Gnomies from Paper Rose.

I started with a tag and added some white gesso to it. Once it was dry, I used some PaperArtsy Rocky Road Infusions a spread the color around. When that layer was dry, I added some scrap tissue paper I had painted with Dylusions Shimmer Paint.

I stamped my gnomies on watercolor paper and then colored them up with Karin Brushmarkers. I decided that every gnomie needs a little sparkle, so added some sparkle pen on top of the watercoloring.

I fussy cut my images out and attached them to my tag with foam tape. I used the New Year sentiment from the Visible Image Classic Christmas set and added it to the tag as well. And there you have it, a fun and colorful New Years Gnomies tag perfect for any wine gift that you may be bringing to your New Years celebration!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful New Year. Don't forget to check out the Winter Sale going on now to spark your creativity in the New Year!

Happy New Year to All of You!

  Hi Everyone,

Cornelia here today!
This week we are celebrating the New Year! Happy New Year to all of you! Hopefully 2022 will be a better year.....For this card I used Visible Image stamps. I combined it with a sentiment from Heffy Doodle
First I made the background using a Studio Light stencil (see below). Stamped the wine glasses. Added the splashes and splatters. Added generous Crystal Lacquer to the glasses (unfortunately this does not show well in the pictures).
The sentiment is heat embossed in silver. Added some silver glitter paper under the sentiment.

I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.
See you next week with more Topflight Stamps inspiration.
And here are the stamp supplies I used:

Relax and Get Your Happy On with Katzelkraft

Hi, Connie here with a fun and sassy card to kick off the new year.
I used Les Piafs (sassy birds) by Katzelkraft and paired them
with the Relax Quotes by Katzelkraft

The background is created using the Number Medley set by Darkroom
Door.
. Great stamp set!  I used the stone wall stencil by
Carabelle Studio
to add more clutter to the background.  The foliage
is from the Silhouette Flowers by Katzelkraft.  The background is
stamped with Prism/slate grey and Archival/Jet Black ink.

The birds are colored with Distress Oxide inks and then trimmed out.
They are adhered to the front of the card with dimensional adhesive.
The sentiment is stamped in Archival/Jet Black ink, trimmed
out into word strips and colored with the same inks used for the birds.

Products used:

Darkroom Door/Number Medley

2022 Calendar -- New Beginnings!

Greetings!  It's Tuesday so it's my day to share a project with you. This week my teammates and I are celebrating the new year and/or new beginnings. I decided to make a calendar card that was created with the appropriately named New Beginnings Unmounted Rubber Stamp #578 by Crafty Individuals, which features a wonderful hatching baby dragon. I also used the Mystic Swirl Clear Polymer Stamp by Lavinia Stamps to make the background paper with Confetti and Della Blue Elements Inks by Lavinia Stamps.

Here's my card, which stands up on its own and fits into an A7 envelope.

The image was stamped onto Cryogen White cardstock which has a shimmer to it and works really well with dye inks and Copic markers.

Here's a close-up photo that I took to show the shimmery color.

Confetti and Della Blue Elements Inks by Lavinia Stamps were smooshed onto my craft mat, spritzed with water, then mixed media cardstock was dipped into it until I was happy with the coverage.

While it was still wet, I used the 2" Speedball Brayer to apply Della Blue Elements Ink to a piece of shiny finished crocodile textured specialty paper, placed the wet inked cardstock against the inked textured paper, placed that atop the platform of my Big Shot, added the cutting plates, then cranked the sandwich through the machine a few times which successfully transferred the crocodile pattern to the inked paper.

I've grown quite fond of the Mystic Swirl Clear Polymer Stamp by Lavinia Stamps and used it to further adorn the background panel.

The card was assembled, the calendar was added, and I called it done!

AALL & Create New Years Card with Tracy Evans Blackbird & Stars

Hi friends!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share a fun little New Year's Card featuring gorgeous stamps by Tracy Evans for AALL & Create, Blackbird stamp set 530.  I immediately fell in love with this new stamp set of Tracy's and couldn't wait to use it for New Years, which is our theme this week on the Topflight Stamps blog.

I thought I'd try something a little different for me and used my ink blending brush on a Bristol panel to blend Scattered Straw, Weathered Wood and Black Soot Distress Inks to create a halo effect.  I then splashed the panel with water and dried it, then splashed on Glimmer Mist in Bronze Penny and Silver Dollar by opening the cap and splashing with the reservoir, drying between each color.  Finally I stamped the stars onto the panel in black and again on a black panel, embossing in gold.  I fussy cut the stars and mounted them and added a stamped blackbird and a label tape sentiment.  I hope this card gets your wheels turning for your own New Year's designs.  xx, Autumn

Happy New Year from Topflight Stamps!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! It's Kathi here today popping by with one of my last Christmas cards for the year. This one was created with the llama and the tall cactus from the Zinski Art 59 Rubber Cling Mounted Stamp Set by PaperArtsy. The llama is wearing a Santa hat from the Baa Humbug Clear Polymer Stamp Set by Hobby Art Ltd. and carrying a pile of presents from the Funny Accessories Unmounted Stamp Set by Katzelkraft. The desert scene was created with the mountains stamp from Marlene's World Happy Holiday Clear Stamp Set by Studio Light and a sentiment from the ever useful Classic Sentiments Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle.

Here it is!

The llama and cactus, from the Zinski Art 59 Rubber Cling Mounted Stamp Set by PaperArtsy,
the Santa hat, from the Baa Humbug Clear Polymer Stamp Set by Hobby Art Ltd., and the pile of presents from the Funny Accessories Unmounted Stamp Set by Katzelkraft. were stamped, fussy-cut, colored with Copic markers, then edged with a dark marker.

Santa Llama's sunglasses received several layers of clear Glaze pen to make them dimensional and shiny. Red and green glitter pens were used to highlight the llama and his blanket.

The mountains, from the from Marlene's World Happy Holiday Clear Stamp Set, were stamped onto label paper and fussy-cut so to create masks to be used to create the mountain range using Copic-friendly ink and add a blue desert sky using my beloved Periwinkle Prism Ink by Hunkydory Crafts.

The mountains were touched up and detailed with Copic markers, then the desert was added with Memento ink.

The llama, Santa hat, and cactus were adhered to the image panel, then the Christmas cactus was decorated with gemstones and topped with a gold sparkly embossed metal star.

The sentiment was stamped onto a vellum speech bubble die-cut and adhered to finish the card.

Visible Image Create

Ericka here and today I am continuing with the Visible Image theme. I created this card with the Daisy Daisy stencil along with the VI Minis #1 and Create With Your Soul set.

I love these the Visible Image sets and how well they go with each other.  I started with the Daisy Daisy stencil with Distress Ink in Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers.

I stamped the butterfly from the VI Minis set on my background as well as on a separate piece of paper to color it up with my watercolor markers. I then added glitter drops to add some sparkle to my butterfly.

I then cut out my butterfly and attached it to the background with foam tape. To finish my card I stamped this great sentiment from the Create With Your Soul set.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and I'll be back on New Year's Eve.
