Spooky!

Greetings!  It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. BUT, before we get to that I wanted to remind you that you have a little less than 24 hours to take advantage of the Labor Day Sale! Treat yourself, treat a friend, buy your holiday gifts early! Just pop on over to the Topflight Stamps to fill your basket with goodies!

This week's theme is Halloween, which is my favorite holiday! I love everything about the holiday including creating projects for it,

Ink the Dreaded Damask Cling Rubber Stamp by Indigo Blu with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko and stamp it onto a panel of Mixed Media paper to create the image panel. Heat set.

Brush Lemon Drop Elements Premium Dye Ink by Lavinia Stamps onto the center of the stamped panel. Brush Sundance Elements Ink slightly overlapping both sides. Brush Russet Orange Elements Ink on both sides of the darker yellow inked area. Continue this pattern using Mulberry, Merlot, and Flying Fig Elements Inks. Heat set the panel, trim, edge with a black pen, and set it aside.

Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko to ink the Skull n Roses Unmounted Rubber Stamp by Crafty Individuals and stamp onto white cardstock. Fussy-cut the image, color with alcohol markers, and edge with a black marker.

Brush a strip of Mixed Media paper with Lemon Drop Elements Premium Dye Ink. Heat set.

Pounce an anti-static pad onto the inked strip. Use Russet Orange Elements Ink to stamp the "Spooky" sentiment from the Halloween Collection Clear Stamp Set 1 by Melina Dahl for That's Crafty onto the strip.
Add Clear Gloss Embossing Powder by Wow! to the wet ink. Pour the excess powder back into the container. Heat set the embossing powder. Let the heated powder cool, then use a Sentiment Frame Die Set to cut the sentiment. Edge the interior part of the die-cut with Flying Fig Elements Premium Dye Ink. Heat set. Use the same die to cut textured black cardstock.

Adhere the Dreaded Damask to a black textured A2 card. Adhere the colored, fussy-cut Skull n Roses as shown. Adhere the framed sentiment to finish the card.

Postage Butterflies with Crafty Individuals

Hello, Lisa Hoel here. This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is again Anything Goes. This time I used a beautiful butterfly stamp from Crafty Individuals. I was also still having lots of fun making ink powder backgrounds so used the Lindy's Magicals Pigment Powders set Enchanted Forest to make this one.

Voyage of Discovery

It's Tuesday which means that you have Kathi here to share a project with you! This week's theme is Beach/Ocean.

Here's a photo that shows a bit more of the shimmer created with the Glitz Spritz Spray.

Use Copic markers to color the image. Add white caps to the ocean with a white Gelly Roll Gel Pen. Use a Black Gelly Roll Glaze Pen to fill in the open letters of "Discovery". Trim the image panel and edge with a black marker. Set it aside.

Select a piece of patterned paper from the Retro Summer 6x6 Patterned Paper Pad by Craft Consortium Ltd to use as a background panel. Trim it to 5.25" square.

Use Sand Dune VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko to stamp the Counting Down tide chart (no longer available at TFS) along the right hand side if the patterned paper.

Use Sand Dune VersaFine Clair Ink to stamp both the Compass and the anchor stamps from the ScrapCosy ESC11 Cling Rubber Stamp Set by PaperArtsy along the left side of the patterned paper. Heat set the ink. Edge the background panel with Sand Dune VersaFine Clair Ink. Heat set the panel.

Spray Cactus Gold Glitz Spray from the Glitz Spritz Spray Set (Cactus Gold) by Lindy's Stamp Gang over the stamped background panel. Heat set.

Adhere the image panel to the background panel as shown, then adhere the background panel to a 5.5" square kraft card.

Trio of Inky Butterflies Birthday Card

Hello, Lisa Hoel here. This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Anything Goes"! I decided to add to my birthday card stash with this week's card.

Lisa Hoel for Topflight Stamps #creativejuicefreshsqueezed #topflightstamps

The base is a gel print background from my stash. I used the Crafty Individuals Trio of Inky Butterflies stamp and Twilight ink to stamp on top of it. I also embossed the butterfly image with clear embossing powder to give it some shine. The happy birthday sentiment (Go To Words) I embossed with gold embossing powder.

Hello, Lisa Hoel here. This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Anything Goes".  I still have thank you cards to write for Christmas gifts so I thought a wintery thank you card would be appropriate!

Lisa Hoel for Topflight Stamps #creativejuicefreshsqueezed #topflightstamps

The base is an inky background made with Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays. The focal image is Crafty Individuals stamp Little Cottage in the Snow. I painted it with watercolors (and the snow is sparkly!) I really like the details designs of Crafty Individuals stamps.

Thank You Card

Greetings! It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. This week the team's focus is on Thank You cards which are always useful to have on hand, but especially now with the holiday season approaching.

~
Place a piece of Mixed Media Paper or other water-friendly heavy cardstock into a box to protect your working surface. Spray Opal Sea Oats Stardust Spray from the Mermaid Sea Shells Stardust Spray Set by Lindy's Stamp Gang onto the panel. Use a paper towel to pick up any large blotches. Heat set the panel.

Repeat this process with Cocklebells Coral and Azure Sea Asters Stardust Sprays from the Mermaid Sea Shells Stardust Spray Set until you're happy with the coverage. Use a water-filled Fine Spray Mister by Spectrum Noir to mist the panel. Thoroughly heat set the panel .

Flatten the panel by placing it onto the base of a die-cut machine. Add a clean piece of cardstock atop the sprayed panel followed by both cutting mats. Run the sandwich through the die-cut machine several times until it is flat.

Place the dryed flattened sprayed panel onto the base of a stamping platform secured with magnets and/or low-tack tape.

Place the Seaside Shell Treasures Unmounted Rubber Stamp by Crafty Individuals onto the platform's lid, ink the stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko, and stamp. Re-ink and stamp again if needed to attain a crisp image.

Heat set the panel. Open each of the bottles of the Mermaid Sea Shells Stardust Sprays and use the tube of the spray nozzle to add drips of color to the stamped Shells. Mist some water onto your craft mat, dip a cotton bud into the water, and use to spread the color a bit. Heat set the panel and set aside.

Take a piece of beige/off white parchment print cardstock and secure it to the base of a stamping platform. Place the Thank You Sentiment Strip Red Rubber Cling Stamp by Darkroom Door onto the platform's lid. Ink the stamp with Bali Blue VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko and stamp. Re-ink and stamp again if necessary.

Adhere the sentiment panel to the center of the background panel. Spray each of the colors of the Mermaid Sea Shells Stardust Sprays onto your craft mat. Dip a stipple brush into each of the spray puddles, pounce the brush onto a paper towel, then pounce it onto the card front.

Trim the card front to 5.25" x 4". Edge the panel with  Bali Blue VersaFine Clair Ink and heat set. Adhere the panel to beige/off-white parchment print A2 card. Add flat backed pearls to finish the card.

Get Inky with Topflight Stamps Brands!

Hello, Lisa Hoel here. This week at Topflight Stamps our product focus is on Ink – Topflight Stamps carries an array of fab ink pads for all your stamping needs!

Lisa Hoel for Topflight Stamps #creativejuicefreshsqueezed #topflightstamps

I am a huge fan of the Lavinia Elements ink pads. They blend beautifully and there are so many wonderful colors! I used those to make the blended background (don't forget the blending brushes). I also used them (Lime Punch & Russet Orange) to stamp the webs and text. The raven I stamped with Clair Nocturne. A little splatter of Red Hot Poker Orange from the Lindy's Autumn Leaves spray collection added a bit of glimmer.
