Christmas Snowflakes

Hello!  This week at Topflight Stamps, we're celebrating CHRISTMAS in July!!  I went with a clean and simple design, making Visible Image "Let It Snow" stamp set the star attraction here.  With WOW! Embossing Ink and WOW! Weathered Gold embossing powder, I stamped the largest snowflake in the center of the card, and then at each of the four corners, and used a heat tool.  The shine on this is gorgeous in person (see second photo below).  The very center of the main snowflake has a cluster of juniper berries from PaperArtsy - Alison Bomber - Juniper Edition.  I stamped it on a scrap piece of cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with alcohol markers and fussy-cut.  It passes easily for a different kind of berry; it's a versatile stamp set!

Have a wonderful week! ~ Colleen

Winter Wonder with Woodware – Snowman Family

Hello, Lisa Hoel here. This week at Topflight Stamps our brand focus is on Woodware stamps. They have so many cute and whimsical designs!

I pulled a Gel Press print out of my stash to use as the background. Using a stamping platform, I stamped the Snowman Family onto the print and without moving it at all, painted in the figures using acrylic paint. When I was done with that and the paint was dry, I stamped again over the top to bring back any stamped details that got painted over.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the Topflight Stamps store for a wide selection of different and hard to find stamps, stencils and other paper crafting supplies from all around the world! Also keep an eye here on the Topflight Stamps blog. There is new inspiration posted often!

Winter Cottage Thank You Card with Crafty Individuals

Hello, Lisa Hoel here. This week at Topflight Stamps our theme is "Anything Goes".  I still have thank you cards to write for Christmas gifts so I thought a wintery thank you card would be appropriate!

The base is an inky background made with Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays. The focal image is Crafty Individuals stamp Little Cottage in the Snow. I painted it with watercolors (and the snow is sparkly!) I really like the details designs of Crafty Individuals stamps.

The base is an inky background made with Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays and cut using the SkyCrossed Paradise AALL & Create Die Set. The snowman I stamped, watercolored and fussy cut. He's pretty cute – I'll have to work him into some Valentine cards. ;-)

Snowy Cottage

Hello!  It's Colleen with you today to share a snowy card with goodies from Topflight Stamps.  It's still cold where I live, and there is snow on the ground, and that inspired this wintry scene.

The cute little house is Crafty Individuals "Little Cottage In The Snow".  I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black on patterned paper, then trimmed it out.  With a Crealies Stitched Rectangle die, I created a mat out of gold cardstock and mounted the cottage image on there.  The mat beneath that is a panel of white brick patterned paper from Craft Consortium Brick Textures paper pad.

I stamped little snowflakes from Studio Light - Vintage Winter Elements - Vintage Christmas stamp set on patterned paper and fussy-cut those out to add around the framed cottage.  Using a toothpick, I added dots of "snow" with Lavinia Snow White Chalk Paint all over the scene.

Last touch was a sentiment, which is from Creative Expressions Joyful Wishes, stamped twice.

Winter Snowflakes

Hello!  Colleen Dietrich here, and I've got a wintry card to share today for Topflight Stamps.  I wanted to suggest a snowstorm, so I started with a deep blue cardstock and flicked Lavinia Snow White Chalk Paint by tapping a damp paintbrush overtop of the card, in a random way.  I die cut a tag, then stamped Studio Light "Vintage Christmas" snowflake stamps on it in Versafine Clair Ink - TwilightWith the same ink, I also stamped a snowflake border from the Vintage Christmas set along the bottom of the tag. The sentiment is from the same Studio Light stamp set, stamped on a little oval punched tag, with a bit of twine tied through the top.

Katzelkraft Grumpy Penguins

Hello friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here and today I am playing with the Katzelkraft Grumpy Penguins. I love these fun little penguins and their expressions. I stamped and clear embossed them and added them to a gel press background. On my background, I used the Visible Image Halftone stencil with texture paste and WOW! Embossing powder in Clear Sparkle. I added the Katzelkraft Enjoy Sentiments as a fun little pun for my penguins. Thank you for stopping by an I hope you enjoy your last weekend before Christmas!

Season's Greetings!

Welcome back and happy holidays to everyone! This is Rachel from rwkrafts.com and I'm sharing a holiday card that features stamps from Katzelkraft.

First I stamped the Pinecones stamp with permanent black ink onto mixed media paper. I then used watercolor pencils to loosely color in the background pinecones. On a separate piece of paper, I stamped the Cardinal stamp and also colored with watercolor pencils. I fussy cut the cardinal image and popped him on the panel with foam adhesive.

This is a great winter card that isn't holiday specific, and watercoloring the images means that it was easy and quick to create!

Happy holidays!
