Bear Hugs and Blending

Hello Everyone! Ericka from Strangely Creative here using . . . yup you guessed it, the Time for Tea Pandamonium Party.  I mean who can resist these fun pandas?

I started by using the AALL & Create Interconnect Stencil  with the Time for Tea Blending Brushes and Lavinia Elements ink in Sundance, Merlot, and Blue Lagoon. I love how easily these inks blend.

I then stamped the fun little panda and clear heat embossed him. I added some color pencil and white gel pen and then cut him out and attached him with foam tape.

I finished my card with the sentiment and some Hunkydory gems for sparkle.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend. Below are the Topflight Stamp supplies I used with affiliate links. Use my coupon code "StrangelyCreative" to receive 12% off your purchase.

Time For Tea - Pandamonium

     Hi Everyone,

Cornelia here today!
This week we are featuring Time For Tea products. This is a British company that makes really cute stamps.

I choose the Pandamonium Party - Pandas are great - no coloring involved......just like Zebras, LOL!
I started out stenciling the background first. Then I added the bamboo.  I added the climbing Panda. I stamped the head again on a piece of scrap paper and cut it out. Added it to the climbing panda. His belly I treated with bleach, to get rid of the stenciling. Stamped the sentiment and the second panda - this one again on scrap paper and cut him out. Added him with foam tape. Trimmed the card and added striped paper at the bottom.

I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.
See you next week with more Topflight Stamps inspiration.

Tea Party Card with Darkroom Door

Hi, Connie here with a Tea Party Card using stamps by
Darkroom Door I kinda got the memo wrong and created with
the wrong company.
Check out Time for Tea they carry some really
cute and fun stamps!

I created a messy background for the base of the card.  I used the powerful
Infusions for this. Two colors were used and when they were mixed it
gave a really distressed look.  I stamped over the background with
the Number Medley set by Darkroom Door. If you love mixed media and
gettin' messy you need this set.
  It makes everything look good!!

The Tea Cups are stamped on mixed media cardstock and colored in with
the Infusions. I also colored with two colors of Distress Oxide ink. The sentiment
is stamped with Sketched Alphabet by Darkroom Door and Infusions were used
to color the letters.  The word "party: is embossed with
WOW Embossing Powder, trimmed out and added to card front.

Create Pandamonium!

Greetings! It's Tuesday, so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. This week my teammates and I are sharing projects created with Time for Tea Designs and/or Tea Time. I got confused, so I created a slimline card using the adorable Pandamonium Party Clear Stamp Set by Time for Tea Designs and a tea-themed tag.

For now, I'm sharing the slimline card. Here it is!

I started the card by cutting Copic-friendly cardstock with the second largest die from the Essential Rectangle Frames Slimline Dies set. Then I used my mad math skillz to figure out where to position the pandas so that they would be equally distributed horizontally. I used a stamping platform and stamped all three pandas onto the image panel and onto masking paper.

The masking paper pandas were fussy-cut and adhered atop their counterparts. One of the masks from the Acetate Hills Masks/ Stencils by Lavinia Stamps was placed over the bottom part of the image panel and blue Copic-friendly ink was brushed over the mask and the pandas to create the sky.

I traced the mask onto a piece of scrap paper, fussy-cut along the edge, and used that to cover the newly inked sky so that I could create a grassy field for the pandas. I also tore another piece of paper and sponged green Copic-friendly ink between the masks until the field was complete.

The bamboo stalk with leaves was inked with the same green cardstock and stamped. The plain bamboo stalk and extra leaves were also stamped with the green ink.

Black ink was used to stamp the balloons as shown.

The pandas' masks were lifted and all images were colored with Copic markers. The sentiment was stamped onto white cardstock, die-cut, then the thought cloud was colored with Copic markers. The colored image panel was set aside while I created a background.

White metallic cardstock from the Premium Metallic Cardstock from Neenah Creative Collections was cut with the largest die from the Essential Rectangle Frames Slimline Dies set.  One of the Black Blending Brushes by Time for Tea Designs was used to brush green ink over the entire background die-cut, then brushed again over the Feather Leaves Stencil by Lavinia Stamps to create a jungley-leafy pattern. The wonderful thing about using dye inks on white metallic cardstock is that you end up with a lovely shimmery result, pictured below.

The background was edged with more green ink, then adhered to a green card. The image panel and sentiment were added to complete the card.

Tea Time Journal Card

Hello Topflight Fans, Karen Bearse here & this week the team is playing with the theme Tea! I have made a journal card for my junk journal, you can find the tutorial here.  I also have a good storage idea for your Prism Inks.

Let's look at the products I used to make this project.

This is the perfect stamp for a tea journal card!

These are the Prism Ink colors. They make nice water color paints.

The Paper Elements pack is different then the one I used but they all have wonderful images.

This was the quote  box set I used to create my journal stamped on lined paper, it is on the back of the card.

Love this wee seed head dandelion stamp! Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope you get the chance to get inky!

Go Where Your Dreams Take You!

Greetings! It's Kathi here to share a project with you today! I love dragons and fairies, so when I saw the Dragon's Dance Clear Photopolymer Stamp Set by Pink Ink Designs I fell in love with it. Those three little dragons are so cute and the fairy focal image is beautiful!

Here's my wall hanging.

The focal image was stamped with Memento ink and colored with Copic markers. When it was done, some blush was added using chalk pencils. A Rose Pink glitter pen was used to add a touch of shimmer to the berries on her floral crown.

A piece of heavy Mixed Media cardstock was die-cut with a circle die to create a frame for the fairy. Blending Brushes
by Time for Tea Designs were used to add blue and pink Memento ink the background piece.

The dragons were stamped as shown and colored with Copic markers. Clear sparkly ink was added to their wings with a paintbrush.

The sentiment was stamped with black ink, then with sparkly gold ink. The sentiment was further highlighted with sparkly gold ink applied with a paintbrush. The same shimmery gold ink, applied with the bottle's sponge applicator, was used to edge the circle aperture and the edges of the frame. Splatters of the same shimmery gold ink were added to add a bit more interest.

The image panel was adhered behind the circle, then the whole shebang was matted with heavy black cardstock.

Lavinia Fairy Birthday Card with Infusions!

Hello, Lisa Hoel here and happy Saturday! I have a weekend share of a birthday card I made for a friend using supplies from the Topflight Stamps store. I'm always happy to pull out my Lavinia stamps – they are so much fun to create scenes with.

First I started off by making a stack of backgrounds using PaperArtsy Infusions pigments. (Once you get going, you can't help but make a bunch!) Infusions are a water reactive dry dye stain suitable for fabric and paper. The two-part formulation has 2 different crystals which react with the water at 2 different rates; the color particles act fast, and the brown walnut crystals are slower to dissolve. This allows control over how much brown-to-color you create depending on the amount of water you apply and when you dry. The results are somewhat unpredictable which adds to the fun!

For more Infusions play, my fellow designer Autumn Clark made a video tutorial for a resist stamping technique that is LOTS of fun. I tried it! You can check it out on her YouTube channel.

Once I selected the perfect background piece, I used a stamp platform to build my scene on top of it. I like using a platform for projects like this because you can re-ink and "do over" perfectly if a first stamping doesn't have perfect coverage.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out all the wonderful products from around the world you can find all in one place, Topflight Stamps. Have a great weekend!
