AALL & Create Garden Scene

Hello!  You've got Colleen here with you today, as we focus on AALL & Create products at Topflight Stamps!  Flowers and butterflies from AALL & Create Gravel Script Ephemera are the stars of the stage on my card.  The background was created with several Lavinia Dye Inks, swiped on a piece of watercolor cardstock, then liberally spritzed with water.  The colors I used are:  Della Blue, Bermuda, Green Parrot, Pixie Green and Olive.  When the piece was dry, I sprayed Lindy's Stamp Gang Fairy Fluff over it to create a sparkly scene.  The final touch is a sentiment from Lavinia Sentiment Stickers - Uplifting Collection.

Look Up with Lavinia

Hello!  It's Thursday and you've got Colleen here to share a card.  This week at Topflight Stamps, we're focusing on Lavinia stamps, stencils, inks and more.  I knew I wanted to create a scene with the adorable Pipspell mouse.  I gathered the Lavinia Moon, Christmas Tree Group and Pipspell, and stamped them all in Versafine Onyx Black ink.  Then I inked up grass and sky using the following Lavinia Dye Inks:  Della Blue, Graphite, Olive, Green Parrot and Violet Chalk.  I used a yellow ink from my stash.  Once the inks were dry, I splashed some water onto the card to create a magical touch.  The sentiments from Lavinia Sentiment Stickers - Uplifting Collection were added at the end:  "Look up and breathe..."

Darkroom Door Inspiration Card

 

Hello crafty friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here and today I am continuing the tribute to beautiful Rachel from Darkroom Door. I only had the pleasure of meeting her in person once during Creativation in 2019. She was a lovely person and I had a great time taking one of her creative card classes. Her art and journaling were always an inspiration and I had the pleasure to use a variety of her stamp designs.

 

There are so many amazing Darkroom Door designs and it would be impossible to pick a favorite set but I have always loved the Butterflies Background Stamp. I started with some Lavinia Elements Ink blending with Mermaid, Blue Lagoon, and Violet Chalk.

I used the WOW! Golden Glow Embossing powder and heat embossed it up the beautiful background.

I then added the Part of You sentiment on black to finish my card.

Lavinia Owl and Ink Blending

 

Hello crafty friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here and today I am playing with this fun Erwin owl from Lavinia Stamps. He is so fun to stamp and I love his expression. I first stamped him on my Bristol cardstock in Versafine Clair Twilight Ink and clear embossed it. I then used Lavinia Elements ink in Sundance, Pine, and Henna with the blending brushes and  Lavinia Flurry stencil. 

I then used the Lavinia Elements ink in Merlot, Violet Chalk , Paprika, and Sundance and watercolored the fun owl. I finished my card by adding the Heartfelt Sentiments.

Stenciling with Lavinia Elements Inks

 

Happy Friday crafty friends! Ericka with Strangely Creative here and I am continuing the Design Team weekly theme "Getting Inky." Today, for my card I used the Lavinia Elements Dye Ink pads for some ink blending for my Visible Image card. I love the Lavinia inks, they are loaded with ink and so easy to blend.

 

I started with some Bristol Smooth paper and the Visible Image Square Route stencil.  I used the Lavinia Stencil Brushes with the Lime Punch and Blue Lagoon ink and then took the smaller Lavinia Stencil brush to add the Pine and Truffle inks to the edges of the squares.  These inks made a great combo for a masculine birthday card.

I finished my card by stamping the Visible Image Birthday Wishes and white heat embossing it and attaching it with foam tape to my background.

Crafty Individuals Birthday Dogs

 

Happy Friday friends! Ericka with Strangely Creative here and today I am continuing the Design Team theme using the Crafty Individuals brand. This brand has a wide variety of unmounted stamps, so don't forget to get the EZ Mount.  Today I thought I'd make a quick birthday card using the Waiting for Their Next Adventure stamp. These dogs are so fun and I thought I would pair them with the Visible Image Go To Words.

I stamped the dogs with Versafine Clair Nocturn ink and clear heat embossed them. I then fussy cut out a mask so that I could do some ink blending with the Lavinia Blue Atoll ink and Distress Ink in Antique Linen. 

I colored up just a small part of the stamp and then added the sentiment with Versafine Clair ink in Glamorous. I finished my card by adding a little AALL & Create washi tape. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend.

Fall Woodsy Scene Cards with Lavinia Stamps

 

Hi friends!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share a couple of inky fall creations featuring gorgeous stamps by Lavinia. 

My first card features the gorgeous Fairy Toadstool stamp.  I created a moody forest floor scene by blending Lavinia Elements inks.  I added some shading to the hills by tearing a piece of paper and sponging around it, and then by adding some ink with a water brush.  I added the Fuzzy Caterpillar as the central creature. 

I completed the scene with the Woodland Ferns, Silhouette Folliage, Mini Meadow Mushrooms and the Hazel Tree (stamped as grass).  Along the ground, I stamped the Mini Dots stamp to resemble dirt.  I added details with a Uniball white pen, Posca markers and Pan Pastels.  I drew gold paint dots then used a Q-Tip to blend the Pan Pastels over to mimic fireflies.  So fun!  

My next card features Fox Set 2.  I adore these amazing silhouettes!  I masked a punched out circle and did another ink blended background with Elements inks, using another sheet of torn paper to sponge the hillside.  Next, I stamped the Seasonal Tree.  I filled in the sky with a stamped pattern because it was too plain.  I used the Whimsical Wisps and Wild Vines. 

For the forest floor I used the Silhouette Foliage again, with the Fairy Buttercups and the Berry Leaves.  I finished with splashes of water and ink for a grungy look.  I really enjoyed creating these stamped scenes.  I hope they have inspired you. xx, Autumn
