Hello...

Hello everyone.. Annette Allen here with you today. So sad to share that this will be my last Topflight Stamps post. It has been awesome being on the TFS design team. All of the design team members are so talented and Donna is the sweetest. So thank you Donna for having me.

Today I am sharing a card created using...

I first cut strips of the Neenah: Creative Collection Premium Metallic card-stock and adhered them to the card base. I stamped three of these pretty flowers from the PaperArtsy: Tracy Scot 24-Rubber Mounted Stamp Set and fussy cut them. I adhered them using Scotch foam tape.

Totally simple card to create.

Metallic Paper Blending

Happy Thursday! Ericka here and today I'm playing with some Neenah Metallic Cardstock. This paper is so pretty and has a beautiful shine.

https://topflightstamps.com/products/neenah-prmium?ref=xuzipf8pid

I thought I would play with a little ink blending on the paper to see if I could still get the shine from the cardstock to come through.

For the heart card I used the heart stencil from Alexandra Renke with the new Prism Inks. They did a beautiful job blending and I love the colors!

I love how the ink blended on the cardstock and that you can still see the shine.

These gems from Hunkydory are also fun to play with and I love the variety of colors they come in.

I used Distress Oxides for my second card and a stencil from AALL & Create. The large sentiments from Katzelkraft are perfect for just about any card.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get a chance to try out this paper, it gives any project a fun touch of sparkle! For more details on how I created my card feel free to stop by my blog Strangely Creative.

Shimmer Dream

Hello, Topflighters!  Toni here to explore using Neenah 65lb Metallic Cardstock with Copics.

Now the shimmer of this paper is simply amazing. It practically seems to glow.  It's ever so perfect for my fairy cards. I can also see myself using it for a special occasion card (wedding, mother's day, holidays) and I bet you have all sorts of ideas brewing too.

I stamped the Lavinia Moon Pods using Stazon Jet Black then stamped one of the Lavinia Dandelions at the bottom of each pod. It's like they wearing adorable little ruffs!

I colored the Lavinia Moon Pods using just a few Copics. What I discovered is the ink can quickly over-saturate the paper and bleed. So I used what I call the dab method where I applied the bare minimum amount of color by dabbing and overlapping to create shade. Worked a treat.

I finished the card by stamping one of the Lavinia Fairy Foragers and the Katzelkraft Carpe Diem sentiment.

You can see my other creations on my blog, Frankie Helps Craft, or on Instagram. Have a great rest of  your week and don't forget to dream!

Robot Birthday Card!

Hello there, Lisa Hoel here! This week at Topflight Stamps we are featuring Neenah's Metallic Cardstock! The pack comes with four different colors of totally luxe cardstock that has a beautiful sheen to it. I thought it would be perfect to incorporate with the industrial robot birthday card I wanted to make for my nephew.

The paper has a nice weight to it and accepts ink well. For the card base, I used the Mechanical Texture Plate as a stamp to cover the metallic paper with the mechanical pattern. The piece under the robot is the silver metallic paper dry embossed (it embosses really well!) and then highlighted with black ink. It's hard to capture the metallic look of the paper in a photo but trust me, it really glimmers in the light!

You Are So Special - Focus on Metallic Cardstock

Hi Everyone and welcome to the Topflight Stamps blog!  It's Jenny here, and I'm joining you today with a card that showcases the Neenah Creative Collection Premium Metallic cardstock.

The Neenah cardstock is 24 sheets and is metallic on both sides, it comes in four different shades.

For my card today I wanted to test it with heat embossing.  I chose a sheet of the darkest metallic cardstock, a beautiful smooth silver, and trimmed it to 4.25" x 5.5".  I then used an embossing ink pad and coated three-fifths of the panel by taking the pad to the cardstock directly and swiping it.

I then heat embossed it with Rita Barakat Dragon's Egg embossing powder, and then repeated it.

When cool, I overlaid the Alexandra Renke Round Mandala stencil over the heat embossing,  masked off the top half and then used a palette knife to add silver embellishment mousse.
For my sentiment, I heat embossed in silver the sentiment from Debbi Moore Designs Life Quotes onto black cardstock, die cut it with a stitched rectangle die and popped it up on foam squares.

To finish, I added crystal jewels in certain places on the mandala and then adhered the panel to a white card base.

As a little bit of news, this will sadly be my last post as a member of the Design Team at Topflight Stamps. I've absolutely loved my time at TFS and unfortunately have had to step away for the time being.  Thank you all for checking in!

Dare to Dream

Happy Saturday! Ericka here with some fun coloring using this Beautiful Mandala set from Paper Rose.

This gorgeous mandala is almost the size of an A2 card and makes a beautiful centerpiece for any type of card. I especially love the beautiful sentiments that come with this set.

https://topflightstamps.com/collections/paper-rose-australia/products/paper-rose-beautiful-mandala-4-x-6-clear-stamp-set

I used rose gold embossing powder and Zig Clean Color Brush Markers to blend the colors of the mandala. I love how the colors came out by blending tow shades that were in different color families.

Thanks for stopping by and feel free to stop by my blog Strangely Creative for more details on how I created my card.

Journey Girl...

Hello everyone... Annette Allen here with you today to share this card I created using Carabelle Studio Floral Journey and AAll & Create Barbary Stars Stencil

I love this Carabelle Studio Floral Journey stamp set. I have used it before but here is another example how you can color this sweet image with really any color combo you like and it is still pretty. I hand cut around the image leaving a hint of white.

I colored the images with Copic Sketch Neon markers. I love neon inks. I also did the stencil in neon. I wanted this card to be full of color. I adhered the image using Scotch foam adhesives to give the image some dimension. I do that on most of my cards.

Hope you enjoyed todays card.. thanks for stopping by!

Let's Take a Break

Hello, friends!  Toni here with you this fine day. Today I have a coffee/tea card that I can picture being used to hold a gift card.

I started by stamping the Katzelkraft Tea Time images using Ranger Archival Ink on Strathmore Bristol paper.

I colored her like me--the clothes in colors I love to wear, black hair with a touch of gray, but I don't wear pearls although I do have some my mama left me. I've always considered them to be too grown up but I suppose I've aged into them. Geesh!

I colored up the images with Zig Real Brush Watercolor Pens then adhered the Hero Arts August 2018 Kit Window Die over it using Gina K Connect glue.

Lastly I stamped the Katzelkraft Relax Sentiments sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black. I really like the effect of it stamping right over the hanging sign.

Let Your Dreams Blossom | For the Love of Stamps

Hi Everyone!

Jenny here with a card that uses one of my favorite techniques - emboss resist.

I'm using a stamp set by one of my favorite brands at Topflight Stamps - For the Love of Stamps.  I'm using the Floral Favorites set full of lots of whimsical flowers and a few great sentiments.

To create my card, I arranged the flower and leaf stamps in my MISTI stamp positioning tool over a panel of Bristol Smooth white cardstock, as close together as possible.  I then stamped them in embossing ink and heat embossed in white.  I removed the stamps and then rearranged them all again, repeating the steps until the entire panel was covered.

I used my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers to swipe stripes in a variety of purple and pink (and a touch of blue) horizontally across the panel.  I then spritzed heavily with a shimmer spray to enable the color to gently blend into each other.   The embossing resists the spray, and when dry, you can buff it off with a dry cloth.  I trimmed down this panel and popped it up on foam tape to a white notecard.

The sentiment was heat embossed in white on black cardstock trimmed out and popped up on more foam tape.  As a finishing touch I added some iridescent jewels.

Love how this sparkles in the light!

Cute Fairy....

Happy Friday Topflight Stamps friends..... Annette Allen here with you today to share this card I created using Carabelle Studio: Fairy of Love stamp set and Jane Davenport: Happy Little Unicorn Die Set.

I love coloring up this fun little fairy from Carabelle Studio. I colored the images with Copic Sketch markers and cut with my Brother Scan n Cut machine.

I used a misc. embossing folder and then added some fun Ranger Oxide inks for a colorful and bold background. I used foam adhesives to give all my images some dimension. A simple card with no sentiment that way I can use it just to send a sweet note.

Thanks for stopping by!
