Seeing Stars with Topflight Stamps

 Hello, Lisa Hoel here! Our Topflight Stamps theme this week is "Stars". I used the fun and funky Secret Stars stencil from AALL & Create for the background of this card.

The fussy cut robot from the Katzelkraft Robots 2 stamp set is popped up with a Mini Action Wobble Spring which gives it a fun interactive element.

Celebrating Birthdays!

Hello! The new year is almost upon us; can you believe it? We are in a celebratory mood around here with the start of 2020 a few days away and also my husband's 50th birthday on the 4th! I made him a fun card:

I always love using Katzelkraft stamps because of their whimsical designs. I stamped and fussy cut this little robot and mounted it onto a Wobbler for some fun movement. The background is stamped with ombre ink and I embossed the sentiment so it would really pop. Hopefully he will like it!

Robot Birthday Card!

Hello there, Lisa Hoel here! This week at Topflight Stamps we are featuring Neenah's Metallic Cardstock! The pack comes with four different colors of totally luxe cardstock that has a beautiful sheen to it. I thought it would be perfect to incorporate with the industrial robot birthday card I wanted to make for my nephew. 

The paper has a nice weight to it and accepts ink well. For the card base, I used the Mechanical Texture Plate as a stamp to cover the metallic paper with the mechanical pattern. The piece under the robot is the silver metallic paper dry embossed (it embosses really well!) and then highlighted with black ink. It's hard to capture the metallic look of the paper in a photo but trust me, it really glimmers in the light!
