Visible Image Anyone for Bubbles?

Happy (almost) New Years everyone! Ericka with Strangely Creative here and today I have a bubbly New Years card using the Visible Image Anyone for Bubbles

I started with a gel press print that I had created earlier using PaperArty Fresco Acrylics in Baltic Blue and Aquamarine.  I created patterns on my gel press using things around the house like bottle tops. I stamped the champagne glasses and heat embossed them with some sparkly WOW! powder. After all, champagne, sparkles and New Years all go together, right?

I fussy cut out the glasses and added bubbles to the glasses with Distress Oxide ink in Kitsch Flamingo. I then used my WOW! Embossing pen to trace around the circles on my background and add some more sparkly embossing powder. I added my glass to the background with foam tape.

I finished my card by heat embossing the sentiment with WOW! Golden Vintage Lace powder and added it to my card. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful and sparkly New Years with a little bubbly.

Cheers!

Hello everyone! I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas Day, if you celebrate. This is Rachel from rwkrafts.com and today I'm here to help you jump ahead one week and ring in the New Year!

This is very much a clean and simple card that was very quick to throw together. I used fun stamps from Chou and Flowers "Cheers" stamp set. I colored each image with Copics and fussy cut. I adhered the images directly onto my card base and stamped the cute and tiny sentiment "party time" in Onyx Black ink. Easy Peasy!

Happy New Year!

Katzelkraft Mixed Media Journal Page

Hello crafty friends. Ericka from Strangely Creative here and I hope you are all doing well getting ready for Christmas. Today, I have a mixed media journal page I made as a way decompress from my last week of school and before company comes for the holidays. It's a bit busy but so is my head lol and it was fun to make using some great Katzelkraft stamps.

I started by applying  PaperArtsy Fresco paints to my page using a brayer. I used Blueberry, Bubblegum, Byzantium, and Snowflake. I then added some tissue paper I had stamped with the Katzelkraft Big Scripts to my page. I then stamped the different textures from the Katzelkraft Contraptions & Things set using Versafine Clair ink in Twilight, Morning Mist, and Fantasia.

I then stamped the tag images from the Katzelkraft Contraptions & Things set on scrap pieces of paper and cut them out to make s fun little pile on my page. I stamped the sentiment from the Katzelkraft Enjoy Quotes set and added it to the top of my pile.

I added some scraps from my stash and glues them around my page. I finished my page by adding some shading and black and white marks around my page. A bit busy but that's they way my brain is feeling right now with all my "to do" list to get ready for Christmas. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!

Season's Greetings!

Welcome back and happy holidays to everyone! This is Rachel from rwkrafts.com and I'm sharing a holiday card that features stamps from Katzelkraft.

First I stamped the Pinecones stamp with permanent black ink onto mixed media paper. I then used watercolor pencils to loosely color in the background pinecones. On a separate piece of paper, I stamped the Cardinal stamp and also colored with watercolor pencils. I fussy cut the cardinal image and popped him on the panel with foam adhesive.

This is a great winter card that isn't holiday specific, and watercoloring the images means that it was easy and quick to create!

Happy holidays!

Katzelkraft Masculine Woodland Christmas Cards

Hi friends!  It's Autumn from SewPaperPaint with you to share some Christmas card inspiration featuring gorgeous Katzelkraft stamps.

For my first card I really wanted to create a manly Christmas card and fell absolutely in love with the Into the Wild stamp set deer.  I watercolored and fussy cut him and mounted him onto a woodgrain oval panel.  I created the background by repeat stamping onto another inky panel.

I finished with a long sentiment wood stamp from my stash by Penny Black.

I was trying to take turns using each of the woodland critters in the stamp set, so I picked the darling bird on a branch image next.

I followed the same process and used the berry stamp for the background this time.  Every single stamp in this set is very useful!

Finally, I managed one more card with the owl.  (Poor bear...)  I decided to make a shaker this time and used muted neutral colors.

This stamp set was not specifically designed to be a Christmas set, but I hope these cards give you some new ideas and you will take some time to play.  xx, Autumn

Pink Ink Designs Christmas Baubles

Hello crafty friends! Ericka from Strangely Creative here with one last Christmas card. It's been a stressful week getting ready for the Christmas and the last week of school/teaching before the holiday break. So many presents to make/buy, parties to organize, and small kids to calm down lol. I found a little time this weekend to do some relaxing coloring to de-stress.

I started by stamping the Pink Ink Designs Bauble stamp on paper with light ink so I could do some no-line coloring with my colored pencils. This is such a pretty and large Bauble that I made it into a slimline card in order to use all the details.

I finished the card by stamping the included Christmas sentiment and then used my same colored pencils to trace it to make it look handwritten.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you are enjoying the season and find some time to relax.
