Meow! Merry Christmas from the Cat!

Greetings! It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. This week my teammates and I are showcasing stamps and products by Crafty Individuals. Since I'm a crazy cat lady and holiday season, I opted to use the Bob the Cat Unmounted Rubber Stamp #612 by Crafty Individuals as my focal image.

Here's my card!

Black Copic-friendly ink was used to stamp Bob the Cat onto white cardstock and onto label paper, which was fussy-cut to be used as a mask.

The image was colored with Copic markers, then masked.

Grey hybrid ink was used to stamp the Reverse Stars Clear Stamp Set #484 by AALL and Create to create a background in all of that white space around the image.

Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Tsukineko was used to stamp the word "Meow" from the Caturday Clear Stamp Set #477 by Janet Klein for AALL and Create to the left of the image.

Black Copic friendly ink was used to stamp the fish gift from Purrfect Day Clear Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle below "Meow". The gift was colored with Copic markers and a red pen was used to hang the fish gift from the "O" in "Meow".

A black pen was used to edge the image panel, which was matted with black patterned paper from the Brights Essentials Patterned Paper Pad by Studio Light. This pad is 5.8" x 8.3" and is double-sided with pattern on one side and the matching solid color on the reverse.

The pom-pom on the cat was filled with a glue pen. White Fun Flock was sprinkled onto the pom-pom and allowed to air dry.

Red patterned paper from the same pad was trimmed to 4.75" x 6.75" to be used as the background panel.

"Merry Christmas" from Heffy Doodle 's Classic Sentiment Clear Stamp Set and "From the cat" from the Purrfect Day Clear Stamp Set were stamped with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink onto the solid side of the red patterned paper, die-cut, and edged with a black pen.

A strip of black polka dot patterned paper was cut from the remaining piece of paper, trimmed to 4.75", threaded through the die-cut, and adhered to the background panel. Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink was used to edge the background panel and heat set.

The excess Fun Flock was tapped off of the pom-pom. The image panel was adhered to the background panel, which was adhered to a white 5" x 7" card. Black and green gemstones were added to finish the card.
