Noel Robin

Hi everyone, Colleen Dietrich with you today to share a Christmas card using a few stamp sets from Topflight Stamps. One of my fave sets is Visible Image - Christmas Robin.  It has images of birds, holly leaves and berries, a branch and sentiments.  Very versatile!  For my card, I started with a manila tag from the office supply store and stamped the large robin with Versafine Onyx Black ink.  Overtop the robin I stamped Darkroom Door Sheet Music to cover most of the tag, with Versafine Clair Fallen Leaves ink.  I went back to the Visible Image Robin set and stamped on a separate piece of cardstock the holly leaves and berries, colored and fussy-cut them.  They were added to the bottom corner near the bird's feet.  At the top of the tag, I tied a twine bow and then added a teensy little tag, which was stamped with "noel".  This is from AALL & Create - Define Christmas stamp set.  I inked up just that one word to add to the cute little tag.  That is one way to stretch your stamps - ink up just a portion of a sentiment.

Joyful Robins

Hello!  Colleen Dietrich here to share with you a card as we highlight AALL & Create products this week!   I used the ATC Festive die set for my sentiment.  It looks pretty with a subtle silver glitter paper, and lives up to the 'festive' name!  I also used the Crafty Individuals - Jolly Holly Robins to coordinate with the 'joy' die cut.  Those little birds are singing amidst holly branches... definitely a joyful scene!  These were mounted on a panel of deep red patterned paper, to make both the image and the die cut pop.

Be sure to check out all of the AALL & Create items in the Topflight Stamps store.  So, so many AALL options - over 1,000 items!

Katzelkraft Masculine Woodland Christmas Cards

Hi friends!  It's Autumn from SewPaperPaint with you to share some Christmas card inspiration featuring gorgeous Katzelkraft stamps.

For my first card I really wanted to create a manly Christmas card and fell absolutely in love with the Into the Wild stamp set deer.  I watercolored and fussy cut him and mounted him onto a woodgrain oval panel.  I created the background by repeat stamping onto another inky panel.

I finished with a long sentiment wood stamp from my stash by Penny Black.

I was trying to take turns using each of the woodland critters in the stamp set, so I picked the darling bird on a branch image next.

I followed the same process and used the berry stamp for the background this time.  Every single stamp in this set is very useful!

Finally, I managed one more card with the owl.  (Poor bear...)  I decided to make a shaker this time and used muted neutral colors.

This stamp set was not specifically designed to be a Christmas set, but I hope these cards give you some new ideas and you will take some time to play.  xx, Autumn

PaperArtsy Zinski Birds & Jofy Flowers Card

Hi friends!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share a fun gel printed greeting card I made for my mom.  My mom was at my house and saw my PaperArtsy mini album I made during Covid and loved it and wanted us to make one, so I first made this card for her.  You can find the details of the album using these stamps and more on my blog HERE

For this card I used my 6x6" Gel Press printing plate and PaperArtsy Fresco Finish Chalk Acrylics in Sargasso and Captain Peacock, along with PaperArtsy stencil by Jofy PS164.  I shared a fun gel printing tutorial for cardmaking HERE if you need a refresh.

I made a little stand for the birdcage (JM36) and filled in with flowers from PaperArtsy Jofy stamp set JOFY111.  I colored the funky bird by Elena Zinski (mini stamp ZN23) with Prism brush markers and finished with a sticker sentiment.  Fun!  I hope this card and my mini album will inspire you today!  xx, Autumn

Tracy Evans Blackbird and Stars Card

Hi friends!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share an inky creation featuring a favorite stamp set by Tracy Evans for AALL & Create, Blackbird.  Tracy has a new stamp release, which I haven't had a chance to play with yet, but you can take a look HERE.  For this card I used simple ink dipping techniques.  I dipped the top of my panel in watered Della Blue Elements Dye Ink, then the bottom in watered Graphite, which is a warm gray as you can see.  I fussy cut the stars and layered them over a second stamping, then filled in the design with the other stamps.  I cut the banner free hand and transposed some of the wording of the stamps.

I stamped the bird in blue onto a die cut circle and really liked using the text vertically to "ground" him.  I finished with some bundled string and white Posca marker accents.  I hope you like it!

Click HERE to see the card I made for New Years with the Blackbird stamp set.  It's completely different, but will show you  just how versatile this set can be!  And click HERE to see all of our design team projects featuring Tracy's gorgeous stamps.  Have a great day!  Autumn

Darkroom Door Layered Handwriting Mother's Day Card

Happy Mother's Day stampers!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share a fun collage card just for mom.   I have been eager to play with the new Layered Handwriting Background Stamp by Darkroom Door again and decided to do a postal themed collage card for Mom, using it as the main background element.  I dipped my panel in watery Bundled Sage and Speckled Egg Distress Ink, then stamped the Layered Handwriting in Evergreen Bough and embossed with Distress Glaze.  I made a small envelope with my We R Memories Punch Board and distressed it with Gathered Twigs.  Then I stamped the Pen Nibs and bird from the Love Birds set in black onto inky paper and fussy cut them.  I stamped the Small Sketched Alphabet letters into one of the Lots of Labels stamp.  I attached a flat brad to hold the envelope flap down and adhered a pretty button over it.

The flap opens to store a gift card.  I added a note card as well and used the Simple Sayings Vol. 2 for the verse.  The extra word strips were printed off of my computer, an old postal stamp and a cancellation stamp from the Global Postmarks set to tie it all together.  I hope this card has given you some ideas and you'll play around with the Layered Handwriting stamp to make some backgrounds of your own.  Have a wonderful Mother's Day!  xx, Autumn

AALL & Create Tracy Evans Love Bug & Black Birds Valentine Cards

Hi friends!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share some fun mixed media Valentine inspiration featuring gorgeous AALL & Create stamps from Topflight Stamps.  I've had fun digging through old and new stamps to make these Valentines and the ones I posted last week HERE.  It's been too long since I used the Lady bug stamp set by Tracy Evans so I chose it as my focal point, embossing the shell of the bug and using the Scripted stamp both as a background and as a fussy cut layered element.  I used Andy Skinner texture paste through the Hung Up On Hearts stencil for some background texture.  I made a sentiment from label tape and paired it with the word stamp from the Ladybug collage and finished with some rugged stitching.

For my second card I used a combination of Confetti and Paprika Lavinia Elements ink pads to make my background.  I used other portions of the Ladybug stamp set and this time mixed them with the Blackbird stamp set.  I added some highlights with a white paint pen and some more messy stitching to finish this Valentine.  I hope these cards have given you some new ideas for some of your older stamps.  xx, Autumn
