New Stamperia 8" Paper Amazonia Card Ideas!

 

Hi Friends!  It's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today and I'm super excited that Topflight Stamps is now carrying 8" paper pads by Stamperia!  These pads are $7.99 and there are tons of designs, including coordinating stamps.  I quickly snagged the Amazonia pad and had a fun evening of creating!  

I added a few die cuts by Memory Box and a chipboard vine by Gypsy Laser Cuts embossed with Seth Apter Patina Oxide powder by Emerald Creek.  

The flowers all came from the same pack of Prima flowers.  I layered some Tim Holtz acetate butterflies over the Stamperia paper butterflies for dimension.  

I ended up with nine 4x6" cards (A4) and one slimline card.  I almost used every smidgeon of this paper and really like the variety of my finished cards: butterflies, parrots, toucans, leopards, and sloths!  How fun!

Happy Easter with Lavinia

Happy Friday! Ericka here with a quick and pretty Easter cards using Lavinia stamps and the Elements Premium Dye Ink.

I love using the Lavinia Elements Premium Dye Ink on my gel press. They are super juicy and a little goes a long way. I added a retired Carabelle Texture plate to one of my prints for a fun texture.

I used the Lavinia Max Rabbit and Floral Wreath with Emerald Creek Embossing powder in Deep Sea and Burmese Jade.

 

I added the Heffy Doodle Special Sentiments for both of my cards. I love this sentiment set as there are a variety of sentiments to use for your cards.

Stencil Embossing Journal Page

Happy Friday! Ericka here with a journal page I made using the PaperArtsy Tracey Scott PS 210 with embossing powder.

I created my page by using PaperArtsy Fresco Paints with a brayer and then used the PaperArtsy Sara Naumann 45. 

I used the PaperArtsy Tracey Scott PS 210 with texture paste and then added Emerald Creek Embossing for a bright pop of color.

To finish my page, I used the PaperArtsy Alison Bomber 19 Life & Living set.

Darkroom Door Love You

Happy Friday! Ericka here continuing the Valentine theme for the week using this gorgeous Darkroom Door Hearts set with a PaperArtsy Fresco Paint background and Emerald Creek Embossing.

I love the variety of hearts in this set along with the beautiful font. 

I also love using the PaperArtsy Fresco Paints and all the different ways to create fun and unique background. In this background I used Byzantium, Bubble Gum, Sorbet, Slate, and Stone.

I also used the Emerald Creek embossing powder in Midnight Magic to stamp this beautiful heart and added additional embossing using the WOW! Mixed Media Tool.

Mixed Media Monday with Gwen LaFleur Products

Good morning, Lisa Hoel here! I still have a few Creativation projects I haven't shared yet on the blog. One of the really fun parts of the show is getting to take workshops with awesome designers from the industry. I was fortunate enough to take a class taught by Gwen LaFleur and created this fab collage project!

Hello Topflight Stamp Fans, Karen Bearse here for Mix Media Monday! I have an awesome, colorful tag for you to help beat back the winter doldrums. If you have checked out the New Product tab at the store you will see we have a lot of brand new embossing powders-yay. There is a full tutorial which for this tag which you can find here.

Adding emboss to anything is one of my favorite things to do and that new emboss was calling my name. I am going to add a photo to the back of this tag & put it in my Junk Journal. I was flipping through a pilot manual that I got at a yard sale & the page opened to "Displaced Thresholds" love that for some weird reason!

There were quite a few products used on this but it came together pretty quickly. I started with Fresco Finish Paint by PaperArtsy. I used Mermaid, Cerise, Amethyst & South Pacific.

Next up was Ink by Prism. I used the Embossing, Roasted Coffee & Ocean Spray. 

Then came the wonderful, textured, colorful Embossing Powder. I used the brand new Sun Shower & Seashell Ivory by Eileen Hull.  

Seth Apter Stamps by PaperArtsy. This set ESA04 I love using the type for background images.

The word "Seek" was taken from this stamp. EM39. 

New Images by Seth were included on this tag like this one. They sold out the day after I made the tag- (of course) & went to blog this but they may be in again when you see this post. You could substitute many of his anyway.

Katzelkraft Steampunk Mixed Media Bird Tag

Hello friends, it's Autumn Clark from SewPaperPaint with you today to share a mixed media tag featuring a gorgeous stamp set by Katzelkraft called Carte Postale.  I am new to working with Katzelkraft stamps, but am already addicted!  I purchased a sheet of EZMount so I could use my stamps with my stamp platform easily. 

I love creating backgrounds from stamps, especially using small stamps to make repeat patterns.  I chose the thin lines stamp and stamped it on my watercolor paper tag up and down horizontally, then added a few vertical stamps to make a cross hatch design.  I embossed the stamping with Seth Apter's Baked Texture in Ancient Amber along the center of my tag and added an older Emerald Creek EP along the edges for contrast.  I inked the tag using direct to paper (DTP) with Prism Ink Pads in Smoked Paprika, Wild Mushroom, Slate Grey, and Roasted Coffee.  Next, I added some die cut gears, which I embossed with Seth's Chunky Rust.  I glued the gears to my tag as shown.  

I inked a panel with the above mentioned pads and stamped the bird and leaf motif twice each.  I cut one bird into a tag, then cut the wing and clock from the second to layer.  I attached a brad to the wing so it could flap back and forth making an interactive element.  ;0  I stamped parts of the postcard image and in Roasted Coffee to add contrast.  I used the same ink to add watercolor shadows to the image.  

I mounted the smaller tag over the larger with some vintage holey paper, sisal fibers and the fussy cut leaves.  I attached some motivational stickers to finish it off.  I adore this stamp set and can't wait to use it again.  Make sure to check out all of the Katzelkraft stamps at Topflightstamps.com.
