Making Fall Paperclip Embellishments

Hello Fans of Topflight Stamps, Karen Bearse here on Mixed Media Monday. This week is all about fall for the design team on the eve of September! I really wanted to make these very usable decorated paper clips so I went with fall colors. Any stamp can be made to look like fall just by your color choice. 

These embellishments can be used in your planner, Junk Journal or just a nice way to clip some papers together. These Carabelle Studio stamps make this project really easy. Love that bee!

The Great Outdoors has some wonderful images to play with. I also got the lady stamp from the Fantasy set.

Using your Prism Ink pads to create a water color look works well & so many color choices! I used Peacock Green, Fire Coral, Cinnamon Swirl & Roasted Coffee. You could also pull out a water color palette.

Covering with Glistening Glass emboss is a great way to seal & protect these embellishments. I hope you get a chance to make some of these fun additions to your stash. The possibilities are endless! Hello Topflight Stamp Fans, Karen Bearse here for Mix Media Monday! I have an awesome, colorful tag for you to help beat back the winter doldrums. If you have checked out the New Product tab at the store you will see we have a lot of brand new embossing powders-yay. There is a full tutorial which for this tag which you can find here.

Adding emboss to anything is one of my favorite things to do and that new emboss was calling my name. I am going to add a photo to the back of this tag & put it in my Junk Journal. I was flipping through a pilot manual that I got at a yard sale & the page opened to "Displaced Thresholds" love that for some weird reason!

There were quite a few products used on this but it came together pretty quickly. I started with Fresco Finish Paint by PaperArtsy. I used Mermaid, Cerise, Amethyst & South Pacific.

Next up was Ink by Prism. I used the Embossing, Roasted Coffee & Ocean Spray. 

Then came the wonderful, textured, colorful Embossing Powder. I used the brand new Sun Shower & Seashell Ivory by Eileen Hull.  

Seth Apter Stamps by PaperArtsy. This set ESA04 I love using the type for background images.

The word "Seek" was taken from this stamp. EM39. 

New Images by Seth were included on this tag like this one. They sold out the day after I made the tag- (of course) & went to blog this but they may be in again when you see this post. You could substitute many of his anyway.

New Embossing Powder From Eileen Hull!

Good morning, Lisa Hoel here with a card to share with you today. I made a cheery mixed media birthday greeting utilizing one of the gorgeous new Eileen Hull Molten Dimensions Embossing Powders by Emerald Creek. (Topflight Stamps carries the whole line!) Read on to find out what I did…

The background is formed from three book pages glued together and coated with gesso. I let the edges curl up to give it more dimension. I then spritzed it with water and sprinkled on some dye crystals. Once it was dry, I stamped it using a Tracy Scott PaperArtsy stamp set, embossing some of the flowers with Polished Silver powder. Eileen's Molten Dimension Powders are very chunky and really do bring on the dimension! I also covered a 'happy birthday' diecut with the powder. It's a super luxe look!

High Flying Birthday Card with IndigoBlu and Eileen Hull

Good morning, Lisa Hoel here with a card to share with you today. It can be tough to make masculine cards but I think this one I made for my father-in-law fits the bill!

I used Distress Oxide Sprays for the background and one of Eileen Hull's new embossing powders for the clouds! You can see more info on my blog post.
