Jane's Doodles Brew-Tea-Ful

Hello friends. Ericka from Strangely Creative here and today I am playing with the Jane's Doodles Brew-Tea-Ful set for a fun little tea card. I love this set and it pretty coffee cups that you can color up.

I stamped these on Bristol Smooth card stock and clear heat embossed them. I then took my Prism Brush Markers in Blue Lagoon and colored up my tea pot and cups. This is such a cute set and perfect for those of us who love our coffee and tea.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a brew-tea-ful weekend!

Craft Emotions - You're my Cup of Tea

     Hi Everyone,

Cornelia here today. This week we are featuring Craft Emotions on the Topflight blog
They make a variety of stamps - a lot of really cute ones. I have used them numerous times in the past. I f you want to see my prior projects click HERE. Anyhow, I wasn't in a cute mood, so I decided to go with the Tea Time set. I stamped a lot of the stamps from this set onto my white background. Die cut myself some round shapes with fun foam and stamped loosely over my stamped images. You can use any kind of lightly colored inks for that. Lastly I stamped the sentiment on blue vellum and heat embossed it in black. Secured the vellum on the back of the card. Trimmed the card. Outlined the card with a black Sharpie and mounted it onto powder blue card stock.

I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.
See you next week with more Topflight Stamps inspiration.

AALL&Create - Tea makes Everything Better

    Hi Everyone,

Cornelia here today. This week it's anything goes on the Topflight blog
I love those stamps by Janet Klein from AALL&Create. I am trying to grow my collection......
I used a water colored background and stamped the tea leaves on it in a random pattern, using a lighter and darker green. I stamped the girl on scrap paper and colored her with Copics. Cut her out. Stamped put the sentiment and tea bags and arranged everything on my card.

I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.

Tea Party Card with Darkroom Door

Hi, Connie here with a Tea Party Card using stamps by
Darkroom Door I kinda got the memo wrong and created with
the wrong company.
Check out Time for Tea they carry some really
cute and fun stamps!

I created a messy background for the base of the card.  I used the powerful
Infusions for this. Two colors were used and when they were mixed it
gave a really distressed look.  I stamped over the background with
the Number Medley set by Darkroom Door. If you love mixed media and
gettin' messy you need this set.
  It makes everything look good!!

The Tea Cups are stamped on mixed media cardstock and colored in with
the Infusions. I also colored with two colors of Distress Oxide ink. The sentiment
is stamped with Sketched Alphabet by Darkroom Door and Infusions were used
to color the letters.  The word "party: is embossed with
WOW Embossing Powder, trimmed out and added to card front.

Tea Time Journal Card

Hello Topflight Fans, Karen Bearse here & this week the team is playing with the theme Tea! I have made a journal card for my junk journal, you can find the tutorial here.  I also have a good storage idea for your Prism Inks.

Let's look at the products I used to make this project.

This is the perfect stamp for a tea journal card!

These are the Prism Ink colors. They make nice water color paints.

The Paper Elements pack is different then the one I used but they all have wonderful images.

This was the quote  box set I used to create my journal stamped on lined paper, it is on the back of the card.

Love this wee seed head dandelion stamp! Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope you get the chance to get inky!

Paper Piecing For The Love of Stamps

HI everyone and welcome to the Topflight Stamps blog! It's Jenny here, and today I have a card project that uses Studio Light patterned paper and For the Love of Stamps images together using a paper piecing technique.

The stamp set I'm using is Just My Cup of Tea which as a Brit living in the US, I LOVE.   I still import my tea when coffee just doesn't cut it :) It has some beautiful sentiments, and while I didn't use them today, some super pretty florals and foliage.

I stamped the tea cup and teapot onto co-ordinating paper using Versafine Onyx Black ink.  The paper I'm using is by Studio Light - Orange, Red, Brown, Ivory, Gold - really gorgeous autumnal / fall colors.

I trimmed out the images and shaded them with coordinating Distress inks (Fired Brick on the teapot and Fossilized Amber / Vintage Photo on the teapot) to add some dimension.

I selected another paper which I die-cut with a stitched rectangle die and spattered it with brown Lindy's Starburst spray and adhered to a kraft card base.  I then outlined the images with a black marker, and adhered the teapot to the panel with liquid adhesive.

Before adhering the teacup, I stamped the sentiment with Rose Gold embossing powder directly onto the teapot.  I then popped the tea cup in front with foam tape and that finished the card!

Check out the whole range of Studio Light papers - they're super pretty!!
