Time for Golf with IndigoBlu

Welcome to the Topflights Stamp blog.  Steph Ackerman here again showcasing stamps from IndigoBlu - Fairway to Heaven.

I began by stamping the image in black ink and the phrase a second time.  I added a touch of color to the golfer's pants and shirt.

I love the grungy effect so in keeping with that theme, I tore the stamped panel and inked it with Distress Ink.  I added an inked panel of kraft cardstock to the card and wrapped it with twine.  The golf panel was added with foam adhesives.

The second phrase was inked, then matted with kraft cardstock and added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.

Dare to Dream with PaperArtsy

Welcome to the Topflights Stamp Blog.

It's Day 3 of our 12 Days of Christmas Deals. Today all JOY Crafts Christmas and Winter stamps are on sale 25% off!!!
Steph Ackerman here showcasing stamps from PaperArtsy - Sara Naumann 21 Rubber Cling Mounted Stamp Set.

There are so many stamps in this stamp set so I decided to create a unique background using an assortment of stamps.   I stamped some of the stamps in various colors randomly on cream cardstock.

I created a card from purple cardstock, cut my stamped pattern paper to fit and matted it with lavender cardstock.  Next, I wrapped the panel with purple ribbon and tied twine to the ribbon before adding it to the card.  A strip of purple was added across the card, then the phrase was added with foam adhesives.

I created a second card as above but opted to tie the ribbon horizontally.  I also tied twine to the ribbon.  The phrase was then double matted and added to the card.

Home Sweet Home

Welcome to the Topflights Stamp blog.  Steph Ackerman here again showcasing stamps from Carabelle Studio - Maison House by Zorrette, Indigo Blu - Rain Droplets and Creative Expressions - Home Comforts.

I used the rain droplets stamp to create the background, stamping it in blue ink and adding it to a black card .  Then I wrapped ribbon around the card.

The House was stamped in black ink and colored with Copic Markers.  I then added some glossy accents to the windows.  Once the house dried, I matted it with cardstock and fussy cut it again.  Then I added it to the card with foam adhesives.

I stamped Home Sweet Home, cutting apart the words and matting them with black cardstock, adding them to the edges of the house.

Celebrate Your Day

Welcome to the Topflights Stamp blog.  Steph Ackerman here again showcasing stamps from Studio Light, a company from the Netherlands.

I used the Butterflies stamp set which is a fabulous set I love to work with.

I stamped the butterfly randomly on a white panel in black ink, then matted the panel with cardstock.

I stamped and die cut another butterfly, then colored it with Copic Markers.

The panel was added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension and the colored butterfly was adhered over the phrase.

For additional dimension, I colored another butterfly, fussy cut it and added it on top of the of the first so it appears to be in flight.

Thanks with Crafty Individuals

Welcome to the Topflights Stamp blog.  Steph Ackerman here again showcasing stamps from Crafty Individuals - Inky Borders, a company from England.  Looking at this stamp you can easily stamp it as one image as I have done, or stamp the strips individually.

I created a background for the image with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists.

Then I stamped the Inky Borders stamp in black ink directly on the background.

The panel was matted with orange cardstock, placed on 2 layers and added to the card.

A flourish was die cut from green cardstock and lightly inked and adhered to a strip of corrugated cardstock.  This was placed aceross the card and Thanks was added on top.

Love and Friendship

Welcome to the Topflights Stamp blog.  Steph Ackerman here again showcasing stamps from Rubber Dance, a company from Norway with some lovely stamps.

I've been sewing since I was a child and this Sew Sweet stamp set is so much fun.  I began by creating a card from pink cardstock and tying Whisker Graphics twine around the card.

Then I stamped the pattern randomly about white cardstock.

Next, I inked the panel with varying shades of brown inks to give the panel a vintage look.  For a more vintage appeal, I frayed the edges and matted the panel with brown cardstock.

I stamped the ruler and place it across a large oval and then fussy cut the dress makers dummy, placing it on top with foam adhesives.  The phrase was then added.

Vintage Baby Cards

Welcome to the Topflights Stamp blog.  Steph here again showcasing the Craft Emotions - Lovely Baby, Vintage Toys stamp set and Studio Light - Butterflies stamp set.  I love the baby buggy and thought it would make some great baby cards.

I began by die cutting white circles and placing them in the MISTI.  Using the MISTI allowed me to add several colors of inks perfectly on each buggy.  I used 2 shades of pink for the girl and 2 shades of blue for the boy.

Finally I added black ink for the wheels.  Using the MISTI allowed me to continue re-stamping the images perfectly

Using papers from my stash I created the cards.  A scalloped circle was added behind the image on the pink card.  Celebrate is from the Studio Light - Butterflies stamp set which I slipped behind the image.

A simple circle was added behind the image on the blue card.   Celebrate is from the Studio Light - Butterflies stamp set which I slipped behind the image.

Steph Ackerman here again showcasing stamps from Craft Emotions.

I've used the Lovely Baby - Vintage Toys stamp set to create 3 different cards.

Hello -
I stamped the airplane in gray ink and added in some brown ink before die cutting.  I matted it with a scalloped oval and added it to the card.

Celebrate -
I inked the teddy bear with gray ink then added in some brown before die cutting.  I lightly inked around the circle and matted it with a larger black circle before adding to the card.

The black phrases were added to the cards first and the beige phrases were added slightly off, giving the appearance of a shadow beneath.
