It's Tuesday so you've got Kathi here to share a project with you. This week the team is showcasing AALL and Create's wonderful dies, so I figured I might as well use their stamps as well.
Here's my card created with the Skycrossed Paradise Die Set 34, the Majestic Borders Die Set 51 by AALL and Create, the Taggletastic Die Set 30, the Clown Dee Clear Stamp Set 1207, and the Clown Around Clear Stamp Set 1209 —all by AALL and Create.
Use Tuxedo Black Memento Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko to stamp Clown Dee from the Clown Dee Clear Stamp Set 1207 by Janet Klein for AALL and Create and the boy and girl clowns from the Clown Around Clear Stamp Set 1209 by Janet Klein for AALL and Create.
Fussy-cut all three clowns, color them with Copic markers, and edge them with a black marker. Use a white gel pen to add highlights to the images. Set them aside.
Use the plain rounded rectangle die from the Skycrossed Paradise Die Set 34 by AALL and Create to cut a piece of patterned paper from the Ink Drops - Candy 6x6 Essential Craft Papers by Craft Consortium. Edge the patterned paper with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko.
Use the large ornamental die from the Skycrossed Paradise Die Set 34 to cut black cardstock. Use one of the four gorgeous border dies from the Majestic Borders Die Set 51 by AALL and Create to cut black cardstock.
Adhere the edged rounded rectangle patterned paper die-cut to the black ornamental rectangle die cut. Adhere the border die as shown. Adhere the fussy-cut little clowns so that they're standing on opposite sides of the border die. Adhere Clown Dee as shown.
Use a black pen to add the balloon string back to the patterned paper.
Take another sheet of the same patterned paper from the Ink Drops - Candy 6x6 Essential Craft Papers and cut the top off of it. Position the speech bubble die from the Taggletastic Die Set 30 by AALL and Create, so that it's centered on the top of the patterned paper. Secure it with low-tack tape and run it through the a die-cut machine.
Place low-tack tape on the reverse side of the paper so that it's covering the aperture cut by the die. Use a black marker to edge the speech bubble die-cut, then adhere it in place so that it's secured by the low-tack tape. Place the panel onto the base of a stamping platform. Position the sentiment stamp from the Clown Dee Clear Stamp Set 1207 by Janet Klein for AALL and Create and stamp with Nocturne VersaFine Clair Ink by Imagine Crafts/Tsukineko. Adhere the sentiment speech bubble as shown.
Adhere the card front to a 5" x 7" blue card, then trim as desired.
