With fall in the air, I couldn’t resist creating a bold and shimmery autumn card featuring AALL & Create die cut leaves and Lindy’s Autumn Leaves Magical Sprays. The combination of vibrant colors and metallic shimmer instantly brings cozy fall vibes to any project. 🍁✨
Building the Background
I started by spraying watercolor paper with a mix of Autumn Maple Crimson, Cattail Copper Brown, Red Hot Poker Orange, and Ponderosa Pines Olive. These rich tones layered together create the perfect fall palette with gorgeous depth and sparkle.
For contrast, I also sprayed another piece of watercolor paper with just Ponderosa Pines Olive and Tibetian Poppy Teal, giving me a cooler background to highlight the warm leaf tones.
Adding the Leaves
Once everything was dry, I pulled out the AALL & Create “Leafinitely Detailed” die and cut layered leaves from my colorful sprayed papers. I love how each die cut piece has a unique blend of shimmer and texture, almost like real leaves scattered in sunlight.
I adhered the leaves onto my green/teal background for a strong contrast and dimensional design. To finish the card, I added a heartfelt sentiment from the Lavinia Uplifting Celebrations collection—a simple but uplifting touch.
