Word Block and Filmstrip Stamped Cards by Darkroom Door

Hi, Connie here with a set of cards using the Word Block 
and the Filmstrip stamps by Darkroom Door. The combination
of the two stamps worked great!!

The cards are created the same way, just different stamps and different ink.
The Word Block stamp created the background for the cards along
with Distress Oxide inks. The Filmstrip stamps were stamped
using a stamping platform so the filmstrip could be re-stamped to
get a rich dark image. I used Versafine Pigment ink for this.

The Filmstrip stamped image was adhered to the card front.  Smaller
 embellishments were added to enhance and add texture
 to the card front.  All three cards were created in this manner.

Each card was matted with coordinating cardstock and then
adhered to a folded card base.  The filmstrips were colored in
with watered down Distress Oxide inks and a water brush.

Creating a Card with Silhouette Animals by Darkroom Door~

Hi, Connie here with a card using the African Trees set
by Darkroom Door.  I love the silhouette animals in this set. 
They really speak to me. We have deer, at the ranch, so there is a love
for the outdoors and all it has to offer.

I used mixed media cardstock to create the background and Distress Oxide inks 
filled the bill nicely!  I used the Med. Stencil/Awesome by Darkroom Door to add
some background interest.  Prism ink/Slate Grey was used to stencil the words
on the background. The African Tree is stamped and cut out.

I loved stamping the animals in the filmstrip square.  I used a platform

stamping device to get the animal where it needed to be.  The platform
also allows you to re-stamp the silhouette image several times to get
a nice rich impression.
