Vintage Miss You Cards

Hello friends. Alanna here with a pair of cards today featuring the fabulous Typewriter set from Love in the Moon. To get started, I took the outer portion of the Round Arch stencil from Darkroom Door and blended on some peach ink. I cleaned off the stencil and then put it back over my blended area and stamped the typewriter image with Versafine Claire Nocturne ink

I love that this stencil set gives both the positive and negative portions. After my stamping was done, I took a couple of sentiments from the More Classic Sentiments set from Heffy Doodle and stamped them onto the "paper".

I then took the inner portion of the Round Arch stencil and stamped the circle and stars image which is from the Birthday Wishes set from Visible Image. I stamped it with the Peach Terracotta ink pad from Spectrum Noir. This ink is part of their Shimmer Gold Pearlescent ink collection which are all so pretty!

To finish off these cards, I rounded the bottom corners.

Butterflies & Sympathy

Alanna back on the blog today with a pair of sympathy cards. These can be hard cards to make so I like to have a few on hand to use when the need arises.

For these cards, I started by taking the Boxes 6 Up stencil from Darkroom Door and I blended on some Violet Chalk Elements ink from Lavinia. These ink pads are so juicy and absolutely perfect for ink blending. There are a ton of colors and all so pretty. You can find them all here

After my panels were blended, I stamped my sentiment which is from the With Sympathy set from Visible Image. I then took the Butterflies stamp/die combo from Love in the Moon and stamped it out a couple of times. I love how you get all these different styles and sizes of butterflies with so little effort. Both the stamp and the die do all the butterflies at once.

I sat these aside and then trimmed down my focal panels. I added them to some light purple card stock and then added these to white A2 notecards with some thin foam tape for just a bit of lift. I then added my butterflies and that completes these cards.

Love is in the Air

  Hi Everyone,

Cornelia here today. This week's theme is all about Valentine's Day.
I discovered this new for me stamp company "Love in the Moon" and this adorable fox set. Just perfect for this theme!
I used an pages from the Brick Textures as background. Stamped the foxes and used a stitched circle die cut. Colored them with alcohol ink markers and did a bit of brushing on the outside of my circle.  Added the heat embossed sentiment with foam tape
.
I hope you liked this. Thanks for visiting.
See you next week with more Topflight Stamps inspiration.
